Round 2 of Rockingham

Post by FUEL on February 3rd 2017, 3:30 pm

Rockingham is a chilling reminder of the long season ahead. Consistency will be key in this year's title run. Can Jake West and the Kurtis Racing team mimic a great run in last weeks Daytona race or will someone else rise up on top at The Rock?

Bobby: I hope i can improve my finishing result this weekend. I feel i can bring in a win for Martin Motorsports but Rockingham is known to be a difficult track so i need to stay out of trouble.

Expecting a bit more action as far as wrecks are concerned here as Daytona. With that in mind I think we could go for a top 30/35.

Why did we start and park? We could've gained a lot of money from that top 25. 42nd below expectations.

20th Didn't have a good pit strategy but a Top 20 is a good finish still. We need to improve if we are gonna be fighting for the title.

Your car came down pit road before pitstops and just went out of the race. Didn't have a problem or anything. At first I figured it was a pit early scenario because he came in like everyone else did. Nothing wrong, just parked the car and went out. So the storyline I took was that the small team had no tires for the rest of the run. Especially with Walmart not on the hood for the race to sponsor the weekend's effort.

Red Stallion: Really Surprised we aren't up there; we were super quick last season and It's been a shock to see we haven't led a lap or cracked the top 10 yet.

Bishop Jr: This season has started off well for me. Hopefully we can take this start and build on it. Maybe even do good enough to start getting people interested in bringing me on in the SCS next season. It's all a long process. Just gotta love this equipment that Kurtis has been providing me with.
