ARCSOA mandates Power Restrictions for Daytona
After two very high speed and dangerous races at Talladega and D.C. The ARCSOA Elite Series is mandating that the teams mandate horsepower restrictions for Daytona. The cars will be limited to around 80% of their normal horsepower for Daytona.
The series tested at Daytona with this new package, driver highlighted that the Draft is more important then ever! Kenny Myatt stated, "We are back to the way we were racing 10-15 years ago. The draft is so important, that we can't break away from each other like we used to. If you get a strong draft in the pack, you can rocket your way from 20th to 4th in a couple of laps. Now it is all about figuring what line is moving the fastest and where to place your car! I have a feeling one of the veterans that were around in the old days will win this race."
