Pollard Racing shuts down, Pollard III to drive for CM Racing
Pollard Racing was formed at the start of the year due to Stephen Pollard III wanting to start up his own race team. However, after only making 3 races into the first 13 races of the year and having an average finish of 40th with the races he did make Pollard decided to shut the team down and sell the cars and engines and let go of any employees he had. However, Stephen Pollard III the Season 6 runner up for the championship has found a ride to finish off the year with. Pollard III and CM Racing has came to a deal that any associate sponsors he had on the 89 car will come over and help fund his efforts in driving the 2nd CM Racing car for the rest of the year.

We are confident in his abilities as a driver, and that once he gets his confidence back in the race car, that he will be someone we can depend on to give us a shot to compete and grow as a team."
