Driver Name: Kyle Basaglia
Age: 25
Wins: 1 [Henry Sandfer Substitute]
Championships: 0
Current Ride: #6 @ Xios Honda

At 5 years old he had gotten his first Go-Kart race win and a lot of hope was for the young driver.
It was a struggle until he was 9 when he got his first go-karting championship, he came back to go back to back championships when he was 10, he raced go-karts until he was 15, getting 3 Championships total, and moved to dirt racing in an Ohio dirt racing championship, winning his first heat in his 5th race! Basaglia waited until he was almost 17, where he finally hooked his first win at Raceway 7, and just a year later, took his first championship, he raced until he was 22, getting 3 total Championships.

Basaglia tried for ARCSOA in Season 21, but failed to qualify, until Sandfer had his injury at Michigan, Basaglia was given his chance in his place. Basaglia went on to win the Indy 250 in a last lap pass, Basaglia states, "That was the single greatest moment in my career, if it wasn't for the crash ahead, I wouldn't have won that race!" Because of that win, Basaglia went on to race for Petronas Honda the very next season, and stayed the whole season, until the team disbanded. Now Basaglia is going onto Xios Honda with teammate Aidan Shepherd, "I'm very happy where I am now, and I hope that I can rise to the top and win my first ARCSOA championship!"

Name: Chris Dodd
Age: 21
Birthplace: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Where he currently resides: Either in Charlotte, North Carolina(While Racing) or Melbourne, Florida(During the Off-Season)
AES Debut: S20 American 700(Finished 7th)
Best Finish: S22 Round 1 @Daytona(Finished 3rd)
Current team: #41 Racing Digest Lexus, Driving for Blue Flare Motorsports.

Chris Dodd's childhood history is relatively unknown. He was born in the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico, and is the oldest of 2 children that his parents had. One of the big things that Dodd has told is how he was homeschooled. His Parents taught him how to speak English, Spanish, and some Hebrew at a very young age. He is single, and is waiting "For the one that God has for him". He currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, however during the Offseason he visits his friends and family in Melbourne, Florida.

From the time he was 6 years old he loved watching race cars. But while his love for speed was prominent early on in his life, he didn't actually get his first chance at racing until he was 13 years old... But boy, once he got started, there was no stopping him. From Go-Karts to Quarter-Midgets, and everything in between, he was winning left and right. He quickly became best friends with another young racer named Tommy Turbo(who is now his spotter). He loved working on his own cars, and was respected by many in garages across the Country for his hard he worked. By the time he was 17, he was a Champion in 4 different racing series, and was on as a Co-Host to the(at the time) newly hit Sports Radio show on SiriusXM called "The Marty McGee Show", with young driver-turned-Radio Host Marty McGee. Dodd still comes on sometimes to give his take on the world of sports and racing.

While in one of his local races, Action Terra noticed him and gave him an opportunity of a lifetime: A ride in the ARCSOA Lights Series, and a one-off ride in the S20 A700. He was barely able to make the race, but once he was in the main event, he really showed his stuff, finishing 7th in the American 700 and surprising many by his performance.

At the end of S20, Dodd announced that he was starting up and driving for his own team, named CJ Racing. During S21 the team had a lot of ups and downs, including a shocking win by his teammate Joshua Michaels in Argentina. S22 was looking like it was going to be an improving season for Dodd and the team, however besides his career best 3rd place in the 1st round at Daytona, there was a lot of bad luck for him and the team in the early part of the season, and Dodd in desperation made a move that was immediately struck back by the vast majority of the Paddock. It affected Dodd greatly, who usually tried his best to stay away from the spotlight.

After the S22 A700, Chris Dodd announced that he would step down as President/CEO of the team, and that he would be looking for a ride elsewhere for S23. After the Indy 250, it was announced that Chris Dodd would be joining BFM for S23.

After the death of Dodd's good friend Kyle Collins in a tragic crash, and the Great War that followed it that cancelled the rest of S22, Dodd is coming into S23 with both great hope and a heavy heart. His goals for the future are simple: To be the best driver that he can become, and to keep the legacy of Kyle Collins alive.

Driver Biographies Empty Re: Driver Biographies

Post by Thaber May 21st 2017, 4:58 pm

Tylor Thaber is, as of S23, 39. His father, Craig Thaber, was a doctor who raced on occasion in the old ARC series.

Thaber did some karting when young, but only started racing full time at 20. He ran mostly at Wall Stadium in its limited late model division, doing well on occasion.

Thaber's first ARCSOA season was S5, when he was 21, when he was signed to the #66 car when the car's owner decided to visit the Wall Stadium and saw Thaber making some impressive moves on the track. S5, however, only lasted four races, and Thaber returned to the short tracks, winning frequently at Wall.

Thaber returned to ARCSOA In S10, when an owner who was watching S5's practice sessions and races tracked him down. Thaber ran the #16. He flipped the car in a scary crash at Charlotte, but was surprisingly uninjured. This would be his only time upside down.

Later that season, Thaber made the Indy 250, with his usual crew chief, brother Jordan, running the #73. This would be Jordan Thaber's lone start. Tylor ran up front during the race and led a large chunk of it, but fell back late.

The team folded after S10, and Thaber went elsewhere. He finished 2nd in the New Jersey Stock Car Championship the next year, then promptly finished runner up again the next year as well as the year after. He was winless in the first two seasons, but won the finale at the Farmingdale Indoor Raceway in the third. He set his sights on returning to ARCSOA in S14, but wasn't able to get the finances required together. He attempted two races, one at the 700 at Daytona, which he crashed out of the podium at, and Cleveland, which he didn't make.

Thaber's next ARCSOA attempt was the AOI in S16, which went all right. He made the S17 American 700, finishing midfield, and went full time again in S18 for the S3 team in car #88, racing as the teammate to Allie Nelson. He stayed with the team in S19, moved to Cathenix in S20, and moved to the #74 car for NOPEA.

Across all of these seasons, Thaber came close to winning several times, edging close to James Shelly's record. Thaber finally went to victory circle in S22 at Talladega, running for Koenigsegg.

During the Amarian-Xbaltan War, the state of New Jersey took advantage of the American troops being preoccupied and broke away from the United States, becoming the Socialist State Of New Jersey, a semi-oppressive state with similar freedoms to China. When the American government learned of this, they did nothing, because no one cares about New Jersey (and rightfully so). Thaber left the Koenigsegg team during the off-season and moved over to Team Flame's #38 alongside Estevas Cortes.

A journalist in his off time, Thaber is known in the garage for being honest to the point of sarcasm, and sometimes simply goes for shock humor. He is often calm and quiet behind the wheel. Thaber is married to Sabine Kielschen-Thaber, an occasional open wheel racer and the owner of Seibasport, a stock car team that the pair are moving up to the PWCOM Series during ARCSOA's 23rd season. They have no children.

Brother Jordan, however, has three children. He has a son, Stanton, and two daughters, Elise and Cayleigh. Stanton will be running for Windhelm in PWCOM, and Elise and Cayleigh work for Seibasport.

There is a running joke in the garage in which drivers, fans, and media alike scream, 'ARNAAAAA!' at Thaber. Thaber has never specified who Arna is, though it appears to be a girl's name. He has also never revealed his hometown, though he has stated he lives in north-central New Jersey, west of Newark. He has surprisingly been very successful at keeping this secret so far...

Name: Tylor Thaber
Nickname: 'The Bazooka'
Starts: About 120
Wins: 1 (Talladega S22)
First Start: Walt Disney World S5

Out of character: Two people from the Socialist State of New Jersey... Keep in mind, during the Xbalten-Amarian war, in the ARCSOA timeline, New Jersey seceded from the US to form their own, socialist country.

Don't blame me... blame Tylor Thaber! LOL

Best Finish: 1st, 3 times in my first season of racing
Current Team: FPM #98 Car

John Arndt is entering his 3rd season in ARCSOA after a disappointing Sophomore season and looking forward to better frontiers. His oval racing background provides excellent chances for him at a fair bit of the tracks, but he's spent a lot of time work on the sims for the road course races. Hopefully, this season is much better than S22, where his disappointment was always there. But now at FPM, Arndt hopes to turn things around.

Post by MrKyleCollins May 22nd 2017, 2:20 pm

Name: Dornan Bouchard
Age: 18
Birthplace/Currently Residing: Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
Best Finish: Rookie - 2 time Quebec Junior Racing Champion
Current Team: #73 - Team NOPEA Finland

Dornan Bouchard was born on August 25th to Phillipe Bouchard and June Bouchard. His dad was a wealthy McDonald's manager who played in a hockey beer league and his mother was a stay-at-home teacher.

When he was 6 he started playing his favourite sport, not racing, but hockey. And damn was he good at it. Bouchard played until he was 13, was the captain of his team 3 times, scored many goals, was possibly the best in his school. Some considered him good enough to play in the QJMHL. But at age 13 he gave up to try another thing he had a slight interest in, racing... And running. His father built him a stock car, so he'd take it to the local speedway everyday and practice his ass off.

At age 16 he made his debut in the QJRC (Quebec Junior Racing Championships). He never got his first win until 3 races in (there was 10, this was a provincial championship) but after that he won 5 out of the 10 races. Along with the championship. During the off-season Bouchard went to compete in Newfoundland's annual Tely 10 run, and that's where he met his soon-to-be mentor Kyle Collins. They chatted, ran it together, and Bouchard eventually beat Collins. But the next week they met up for coffee and Collins started to train Bouchard to be BFMs next big star.

He was 17 when he started his second and last year in the QJRC. With the help of Collins he set a provincial record and won 8 out of the 10 races, and dominated the entire season. Smashing the most points ever gotten in one QJRC championship season. The next year he was planned to be put in a BFM ALS car.

Sadly his mentor Kyle Collins passed a few months later, which may have benefited him but he was devastated. Team NOPEA Finland heard about this kid and saw how he smashed provincial records and they hit him up to race along side legendary Canadian driver Sean Angel. It was a no-brainer for Bouchard.

After that he has trained with the likes of Rick Shultz, Nick Pericles, Chris Dodd, Jeffrey Finguy, Tylor Thaber, and even possibly the best PWCOM driver ever Erzhan Zhumabekov. S23 won't be easy for him, but he hopes to carry on Kyle Collins' legacy and do the one thing he never did. Win the ROTY award.

Driver Name: Nick Pericles
Age: 26
Active Racing Series: ARCSOA Elite Series
Debut Season: Season 17
Current Team: SilverSpeed
Wins: 3
Best Points Finish: Season 21 Champion

In 1991, A Racer was born. Born in Homestead, Florida, Nick Pericles is known to have terrible luck on the track & talk with dripping sarcasm.
Over the course of time, Nick's mother, Alexandria adopted 3 children; Roman Rehall, Nicholas Sowman, and Ryder Smith. With Roman being the oldest out of the bunch. Of course, they were all Infants and needed desperate care.
Roman was born In 1990, Sowman In 1992, and Ryder in 1992.

When Nick was little, he would always watch ARCSOA events and drivers all the time.
Soon enough he became so addicted that it rubbed on to his siblings. Nick, Roman, Ryder, and Nico all started to race. As early as the ages of 14. Pericles developed a huge passion for racing.

Time passed & Pericles was AES ready, he was young and talented. He was hired by Visa Lola to drive the #62, he was having a pretty bad rookie season to say the least, only scoring 4 points in total. Pericles did however, show moments of potential where he could develop into a superstar caliber driver. He did manage to make a best friend out of that experience though, he met the most outgoing person he knows, his teammate Kyle Collins.

Despite the moments of potential, Pericles & Collins were both left ride less for the rest of the season. Even though it was just a change that had to be made. This would set up Pericles for the next part of his career.

Season 18, Pericles was picked up by the Team Thunder brigade. He had one of his best seasons yet with Team Thunder, scoring his win in one of the biggest crown jewels in ARCSOA, The Indianapolis 250.

It was also a very controversial race, due to Pericles passing his boss William Duncan on the final lap to claim that jewel. Even with that win, he was pretty consistent and finished well for most of the races.

Despite a great season, Pericles was not re-signed for Season 19. Instead, he was signed to Blue Flare Motorsports #81; And guess what? He was reunited with his still best friend Kyle Collins.

Pericles & Collins did manage to make a few heads turn as they drove some really terrible cars into points paying positions for a solid amount of time in some races. Along with Pericles' adopted older brother, Roman Rehall shocked the ARCOSA World with the runs he had. Although the team did develop much better in their second season.

Season 20, Pericles began a new stage in his career. Splitting up with his Teammate Collins for the second time in his career, Pericles was brought into the SilverSpeed stable to be mentored by Season 11 Champion Ryan Griffin. Pericles developed as a SuperSpeedway Master, although was previously known to be better on Ovals. Pericles had an average season, still adapting to the style and the power of the SilverSpeeds.

Season 21, Pericles & Griffin are being consistent and fast. Pericles nearly came away with a win a couple times this season, including a photo finish with his best friend Kyle Collins. Pericles had been fast and was bound to win a race soon; and not only did he win a race, he won the S21 AES Championship. This did come at a price though, Pericles' Best friend, Kyle Collins, died in a wreck that tore through the car. This would eventually be the final motivation that pushed Pericles to win the Season 21 Championship.

To date today, Pericles has a family, including his 9 Year old Son Jay Pericles. Who is soon to be AES Ready. Along with his 7 Year old son Kyle "Collins" Pericles, named after Kyle Collins after a rough patch of Collins' life when he was injured terribly. Then a fatal crash ended his life permanently. This loss shook the Pericles Family as Nick was very close to Kyle. His Wife Kassandra Still does compete in some local events & isn't looking to pursue a racing career. In fact, she has opted to write books for Young Adults.

Pericles is now ready for this new season, driving with Silverspeed again in the #82 Telsa, Pericles is ready to make a run for another championship.

Post by BugattiNightRide May 26th 2017, 9:45 am

Name: Aidan Shepherd
Age: 18
Hometown: Bridgeport, TX
Currently Resides: Dallas, TX
Occupation: Driver, Cashier at the nearest Walmart
Debut: S21 Round 1 St. Petersburg
Best Finish: S22 Round 15 New Hampshire (4th)
Current Team: #12 Xios Honda
Wins: 0

Aidan Shepherd is probably one of the nicest guys in the garage, but is pretty quiet. Shepherd was signed to the #12 Xios Honda and will be competing on that team for S23.  He will be teammates with his good friend, Kyle Basaglia.

Aidan C. Shepherd was born on October 5th, 1998 to Brent and Rachel Shepherd. Shepherd's mother would die a week later because of an unknown disease that started in the head region. It was just Aidan and his father.

Brent Shepherd was already a local racer, so Aidan had racing in him. Brent had won a couple of races across Texas, adding up to a total of 21 of them in his racing career. Brent was also a doctor that worked around 8-9 hours a day on weekdays. He drove Dirt Late Models usually.

Shepherd had his own go-kart and lived near a dirt road that looked like a small track. Shepherd was five when he got his kart, and started racing it on local racetracks when he was seven. He even sometimes got to race at the same track as his father.

While his father was driving home, Shepherd found a road course-type track that was racing Go-Karts at the time he was looking. He told his father to stop and drive to the destination. This is when Shepherd's career went uphill.

Aidan was a true monster when he got the hang of the track. He won ten kart races when he was nine, and pulled off twelve wins when he was ten. Shepherd was on a roll.

Aidan was eleven now, and a large crowd was showing on one of the races in June. After the first ten laps, he dominated the race. He won it, lapping five out of ten karts in the thirty lap period. Luckily for Shepherd, one F&S engineer showed up to the event and told Shepherd about ARCSOA, offering him a ride to the F&S Racing Camp. Shepherd was confused, but accepted the offer anyway with his father's permission. Apparently Brent knew about ARCSOA, and accepted the offer with a wide grin on his face.

Four years later when Shepherd was now 15, F&S offered Shepherd a ride for S21 which would start next season. Shepherd went crazy when he heard about this, jumping around the room he was in. Shepherd immediately accepted and was ready to hop in the car. Shepherd would be one of the youngest drivers ARCSOA would ever see start in the Elites.

Shepherd had a pretty good rookie season, almost winning St. Pierre and getting good top 15 finishes. Shepherd did get injured in the A700, but it wasn't a serious injury. S22 was a disaster, though. Shepherd was getting wrecked in the qualifying races, the car kept blowing up, and he had a very slow car. He got a chance, though, at New Hampshire when he was given a Silverspeed for the race because there was a boycott. He got 4th in the race, and was overjoyed when he got out of the car.

Since Shepherd missed the Rockingham race, he was told about Collin's death. He couldn't believe it. Aidan was going to go to the funeral, but then the most terrible thing could've happened.

Aidan got a message from his dad that he was going to do a local race soon and asked him to join in. Aidan accepted the offer and traveled to the track by plane. When the race  started, Aidan's father sat on pole, and Aidan was last because he missed qualifying.

There was two laps to go, Shepherd made it all the way to second and his father was leading. Brent was overtaking a lap car when suddenly the lapped car on the inside blew a tire out of the corner. The car swung right instantly, hitting Brent's car with enough force to make it fly into the catch fence roof first.

This would be one of the most graphic and gruesome auto racing wrecks in history. Brent's roof would collapse on impact and fling the car back onto the racetrack. When Aidan was passing while Brent's car was flying, there was a little blood that caught his helmet visor. The upper half of Brent's body was near the wall off of turn 4. The bottom half was still in the car and chair.

Brent and Kyle's funerals were unfortunately at the same time, so Shepherd could only attend his father's. Aidan was in tears half the time and just staring the other half of the funeral. Shepherd drove home with a sad heart, and was told via phone that ARCSOA has ended for the season because of the Amarian-Xbalten War.

Shepherd was given an offer to Xios Honda a few days after the Amarian-Xbalten War ended. Aidan now lives in Dallas TX, and works in a Walmart because S23 is around the corner. Aidan just wants to get back into the car and get back in action.

Name: Vance Caldwell
Age: 26
Hometown: Macomb, MI
Currently Resides: Stamford, CN

It was Febuary 9th, 1991, when Vance Lyle Caldwell was born, to James and Kaitlyn Caldwell in the town of Macomb, Michigan. Growing up he had a relatively normal childhood, playing games, making friends, all that jazz. But then his family went bankrupt and as a result of that, had to move. They moved all the way from Michigan to Connecticut, as there were family there who would help them out with their financials and as a result, the Caldwell family stayed in Connecticut.

At 13, he was introduced to ARCSOA. Immediately he was hooked, and decided he wanted to be a driver. He would travel around all of the state of Connecticut, where he quickly rose to the top with his skill at go-karting, people noticed this, and decided to try and get him into ARCSOA. Though, this did not go that well, as he struggled to find rides, but his luck changed when he met Kyle Basaglia and Aidan Shepherd, which then he quickly got a ride for ARCSOA season 22.

Caldwell did HORRIBLE in season 22, only making it into a few races, and underperforming for those ones, but then, tragedy struck. Kyle Collins, fellow racer, did right before Caldwell's eyes, and understandably, Caldwell freaked out big time. That right there made Caldwell give up on racing for a little bit, but he bounced back, and just in time too, as the Amarian-Xbalten War ended, and Caldwell once again went to search for rides. Thankfully, with the help of Aidan Shepherd, he did get a ride, and he is doing much better in ARCSOA!
