Blue Flare Motorsports bring fleet of 3 Canadians to Mosport
In a press conference with Racers Digest, BFM owner Johnson Freeman has announced that he will be bringing 3 Canadians to BFMs hometrack of Mosport.
Kyle Collins, from Newfoundland, will be piloting the #41 as he has all year. He's known to do decent at Mosport, running top 25 for a bit last year in a Red Stallion Racing car until he had problems last year for example. He'll be running a special RCMP Tribute scheme as well.
Bradley Bishop Jr, from Manitoba, will be piloting the #81. So far this year he ran the #66 for ARC Racing, but that car is so bad not even Nick Pericles can do something decent with it. He could end up racing with a BFM the rest of the year, but whether or not that happens he will be attending Mosport with BFM.
Rick Shultz, from Nova Scotia, will be piloting the #96. He has attempted, and qualified for 1 race so far this year. That being the dirt event, but he races on dirt when he's not racing cup cars anyways. Back in 2015 he made his 1st, and only attempted race at Mosport and finished 11th in a Monster Energy car.
Some people, like Eugene Demax, have been saying they could very well be a threat. Only few other drivers have hometown advantage like these 3, but the team also has hometown advantage which no other team has. They're only a few blocks away from Mosport and will easily save money travelling. They do hope to be a threat.
