Round 35 of Talladega
FUEL: Coming into Talladega a lot of the focus is steared towards our remaining 4 title contenders, Jesse Turner, Nick Mace, Jake Baskinger, and Jeff James. We've raced 34 races and have 2 races remaining and the next 2 races are so unpredictable. For our title contenders this is about not messing up. At any other track you can somewhat control your destiny, these next 2 races you somewhat have a sense of randomness. I personally do not like that but at DC, as long as you run upfront you can somewhat contain the randomness. Talladega is the most random track on the schedule, anybody can win there and hey who knows we might see a winner Sunday that hasn't won this season or maybe another upset winner this year!

Blew an engine last time we were here. Our team's engine builders and everyone at the shop looked very carefully at our engines so they'll be seamless for this weekend. Looking forward to go wide open again.

Re: Round 35 of Talladega
I was out of that wreck and could have faught for that win until Shultz never gave me any room. Other then that, we had a huge chance to gain points but used too much fuel and had to pit.
We are in this championship but we need luck. If that does not happen, I will make sure my team owner wins it. Jesse and I will be proud no matter what and try to finish 1-2 in the championship. Now it is time to focus. I do not want the press around me at all.

Re: Round 35 of Talladega
It took a rookie mistake for the Big One to happen, and it sucks to get swept up in it 3 laps into the race. At least I got credited with 30th and that the 48 didn't finish too far from me. Both of us and the 97 are gonna put on a good show for the fans at DC.
Re: Round 35 of Talladega
Shultz: "Baskinger, you can't put that incident all on me but I will take some of the blame for not giving you enough room. I just wanted to make sure I'd have enough space to avoid any incoming cars. But my car was great today, glad I never got too much damage and you guys better watch out at DC cause I'll be coming in hotter than ever!"
Freeman: "Great run by Tauger today. It sucks there isn't a high percentage of him getting BFM's first win this season. But that's what next season is for, I'm really disappointed in Charlie Smith's performance this weekend. He just hasn't been doing much, I was expecting much more out of him."

Re: Round 35 of Talladega
No, no he's not. The truth has been revealed though, we are in fact related and live in the same house. I guess he just accidentally posted on my account (I must've not logged off the main PC we both use or something). I know none of you'll ever believe this story in a million years because I know you guys but it's the truth. It's up to you whether you'll believe, I tried to keep this a secret so I wouldn't get called Collins, so I just PMed Kenny and told him when I joined.MrKyleBusch1 wrote:Wait why are you Collins because it seems like you have 2 accounts?McBlair wrote:Shultz: "Baskinger, you can't put that incident all on me but I will take some of the blame for not giving you enough room. I'll just stop posting if I get too much hate for this, let's see what people think of the truth. Can anyone handle it?

Re: Round 35 of Talladega
YAMP Motorsports PR: As stated back in October is depends on Louvieres performance whether we would hire him or Silverfox. Yes he just won but we still see Silverfox as a more valuble asset at the moment. Depending what goes on D.C. might change the teams mind.

Re: Round 35 of Talladega
Well the truth is out at last. But that's that, no big deal, let's just move forward and keep on with our lives like usual.
I still can't believe next week is the finale, the year has blown by so fast! Good luck to the championship contenders, it was a great season!

Re: Round 35 of Talladega
FUEL: It has been a fun year, really excited about Championship week at DC. It has been the best year of Sony Cup Series action in these 19 seasons of running the series. This is no doubt the best season and man what a great year! Can't wait to call the Championship and Final race of an amazing season! Best to luck to Turner, Mace, and Baskinger!
Re: Round 35 of Talladega
Can't believe I couldn't have capitalized on the wreck behind me... all because stark body slams the side of my car... oh well great season nonetheless but stark better watch himself next week plus next season
