2018 Silly Season
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING.
This is Silly Season. We're you can officially starting signing on new car numbers, sponsors and drivers for the 2018 Sony Cup Series Season. We are a series that runs year round so that means our first race of the 2018 Season doesn't start until February. That's a long wait, so make sure your plans for your team and what team you want to drive for in 2018 is for sure what you are wanting to do. I ask you do take the time to think about what you really want to do for your team or with your racing career in this series and not jump the gun on signing on with another team. Look at your options of drivers you want to drive for your team; look at your options of teams that are offering you a ride, don't just sign on with the first one that gives you an offer.
Our Silly Season last from August to December every year. I do not like to see changes in the sponsors, car numbers and drivers after everything is signed and official so this is why I ask that you please take the time necessary to think things through and be sure it is what you want for your organization or your racing career.
RULES: Team Owners once you officially sign a driver, that driver is locked. That driver can not be fired without a good reason behind it (ex: inactivity, off track drama, on track drama). He/She has rights after they sign a contract with the team that unless they agree to resignation of their position as a driver to the team, they can't be fired if deemed their preformance is up to standards with the team. If a team owner does not sign a certain standard the driver has to reach within the season (ex. Top 20 in points) they can not be fired unless they are below 30th in points due to lack of preforming and giving the team a disappointing finish which would deem a reasonable act of releasing a driver.
RULES: Drivers, same rules apply to you. Once you sign with a team, you can't just bail out and go to another team after you see a better opportunity somewhere else or feel like driving somewhere else. Once you sign with them, you are with them to drive the rest of the season unless the team agree's with releasing you.

Re: 2018 Silly Season
Finguy-Psytomi Motorsports makes a move!
FPM would like to announce after this season, the 62 will be gone for their full-time entry as a new number will replace it. Number 26 will take over as a full-time number.
Sponsors to return to the new 26 will be Stanley/DeWalt. As new sponsorships in the like of fast food chain Culver's, and The Home Depot who had their contract bought from FBR will join the team.
Meanwhile at the 92 camp, Finguy is the only confirmed driver on the team. Nintendo will continue their sponsorship, but RoosterTeeth will share efforts with full-time sponsorship for rounds at the southern states besides the season opener, wouldn't be surprised if one of their flagship series RWBY will be on the hood at a few rounds. Jack Daniel's will be back on Finguy's sponsors as it will be his sponsor for three rounds next season, as well as the motor oil brand Castrol. Time will tell when those two sponsors will appear.
So,their part-time ride will once again be used. But this time, the number will be surprisingly not what we seen before as 07 will be the number of choice. And no surprise Jack Daniel's will be on the car. As well as their Jack Daniel's Honey brand will be used in case if Finguy is using Jack Daniel's in the rounds the part time car will be in as well.
07(PT)-???-Jack Daniel's/Jack Daniel's Honey
26-???-Stanley/DeWalt/Culver's/Home Depot
92-Jeffery Finguy-Nintendo/RoosterTeeth/RWBY(One-off scheme)/Jack Daniel's(Limited Schedule)/Castrol(Limited Schedule)

Kurtis Racing - Chevy
4 - (TBA) - Office Depot, Mobil 1, Norton Antivirus
8 - (TBA) - Bandit Chippers, Wilson Security, Rockwell
Drivers interested is to be decided, since it is merely a team starting up, but we're looking at Dylan Schwallenberg due to his success in the HNS, but we'll wait and see where the free agents will be as it progresses.

Blue Flare Motorsports
2017 has basically been their best season ever. Coming close to winning multiple times, and getting the Indy 500 pole being two of their biggest accomplishments. Between getting rid of their HNS program and their new alliance with Hero Motorsports and Red Stallion Racing they hope to open the #96 FT and have all cars run solid again. Hopefully even get more competitive, but only time will tell.
#41 Kyle Collins; Starbucks, Under Armour, TBD
#81 Bradley Bishop Jr; State Water Heaters, XXL, Dairy Queen
#96 TBD; Fry Bros, Best Buy, TBD

Gardner Racing News:
Well it has finally come upon us! The team is legit now for the Sony Cup Series!. It is a three car operation the #36 is being driven by yours truly and the #37 is being piloted by up and coming driver Daniel Olson. Sponsorship is being done up by Zing Zang and Accell Construction a homeage to Jonny's favorite underdog team Tommy Baldwin Racing. We're looking to have a successful 2018! just a small update we are looking for a driver in the #35 to complete the look...

#31- TBA - CAT, Cheerios, AT&T, and Rheem
#55 Levi Pascoe - Bass Pro Shops, Mossy Oak, Navy
#95 Eric Burton- PEAK, Menard's, Tide, and BB&T
I am greatly honored to be selected to drive the 3 car for Athenian in 2018. Some may think due to my past performances that I may not be fit to drive, but I do believe I will perform.

Red Stallion Racing To Confirm Entry into 2018 SCS. RSR Has had a difficulty getting to at least Mid field this whole current season. A Recent Partnership with Blue Flare Motorsports & Hero Motorsports Will strengthen the bond between Toyota teams and will rise preformance for all 3 teams coming into this upcoming season. Along with more funding and better equipment from buying out BFMs HNS Team, 2018 will no doubt be a better season for Red Stallion.

FISHER MOTORSPORTS:
Hello drivers, FM is proud to be a part of the 2018 season. We have lots of new things prepared for the 2018 season and everyone at Fisher Motorsports is ready!
Jordan Fisher, driver of the #2 FM Toyota will be returning to his ride with Xfinity as his primary sponsore. Also sponsoring the #2 team will be TaxSlayer and Unifirst as well. Fisher Motorsports will also for the first time partner with Farmers Insurance for the 2018 SCS season as the main sponsor for whoever signs to the #22 for next season. Also sponsoring the #22 will be Monster Energy!
As for the #22 team, Fisher Motorsports is looking for drivers interested in the ride since Maalik Nevins will retire at the end of the 2017 season and will become vice president of FM.
Our biggest improvement for the 2018 season would have to be the big help from FBR who will be shutting down. FM promises not to let their equipment go to waste and will be put to great use. So if interested, come join Fisher Motorsports and be a part of our racing family!
CARS:
#2: Jordan Fisher (Xfinity, UniFirst, TaxSlayer)
#22: TBA (Farmers Insurance, Monster Energy)
PRESIDENT: Oliver Sykes
VICE PRESIDENT: Maalik Nevins
MANUFACTURER: Toyota
LOCATION: Hampton Georgia
FOUNDED: SCS Season 10 (By Ramian Fisher)
