FORMER AES CHAMPION TO START AES TEAM FOR SEASON 24

This year's American 700 proved to have quite an ending. However, Nick Pericles engine failure and Ike Durbin winning under yellow might have overshadowed who finished 2nd. AES season 11 champion, Ryan Griffin, was starting his first AES since retiring from full-time racing at the end of season 22. Despite all signs that Griffin was done with the AES totally after last season, it has been confirmed that the 37-year old Michigan native is starting his own AES team.

Little is known at this time, but what we can confirm is the two will run 2 full-time entries (they have petitioned to run #'s 15 and #51 at this time) and the team will be named Great Lakes Motorsports, or GLM for short.

Sponsorship on one entry has been confirmed with HP Engineparts, a company that has a long history with Griffin, to be the main on one of the two entries.

Great Lakes Motorsports- In house (will be announced at a later date)

#15- TBA - HP Engineparts
#51- TBA - TBA

Kurtis resigns with ViperTech for Season 24

After what has felt like a breakout season for Kurtis, he has decided that he will drive for ViperTech for Season 24. After struggling with Red Bull and the fading Petronas Honda team, Kurtis was signed to ViperTech with low expectations. With 2 wins, however, has given shed a new light on speed for the Missouri native.

"I'd be honored to sign with ViperTech for next season, we've found so much speed and the people there are friendly and cooperative in the garage. I believe we'll be just as strong as ever."

Scott Roush will be retiring from full-time ARCSOA sanctioned competition after the lack of offers coming thru to him. Roush hopes for the best for every one except for Greg Caraway because, and we quote, "[bleep] him." Scott Roush has no plans released to the public yet on what he will do next. Roush, in the same interview, says "I can't deal with the amount of times a car has given out on me here in a situation where I could win." Roush is referring to his S21 heartbreak in Argentina, S22 at Talladega, and S23 at Toronto. Lost all 3 times due to engine failures.

Jarvi Lethinen, brother of Joki, will be in the free agency for the AES after winning the Rally championship his brother had held for many many years

Johann Arndt, after not having the success he expected to have in PWCOM, is looking towards a change in scenery in his career. The young Arndt has been rumored to make the jump to AES for the upcoming season.

It is remained to be seen if this actually happens. But he will be taking up offers and looking them over.
