Round 16 of Michigan

With 15 races in the books, the Hardee's National Series drivers head to the 2 miler of Michigan International Speedway. Known for its open wheel racing and stock car racing, the drivers will tackle the high banked turns of Michigan, where speed and momentum is key. Mason Gordon recently came up strong with a win at Pocono, and he's been on a hot streak. Can he get 3 wins in one season? For TJ Martin, he's trying to redeem himself after a disastrous debut at Pocono, how well we he perform today?

As for the points contenders, the battle for the lead is still heating up, Mason Gordon holds a close lead over Dylan Schwallenberg by 12 points, with Hernandez, Sydnor, and Samon on toe. Porkins: it was a fun race to watch, really kept me wondering who would win, I honesty didn't think Jones would've been able to hold it, but he did to my astonishment.

James got 4th and Caleb got 8th. Decent day for them both. Too bad that late yellow came out or else they would've had a chance to run down the #6.
