HorizonGroup REUNITES with old HZG driver for 2018 Season!

Silly Season for the most part has been quiet up as a lot of the top rides in the series have been filling up. One top ride that is capable of winning and has won races in every season they've competed in so far (except this year) HorizonGroup has had the 78 open for a driver and they have officially announced their driver!
Sean Perkins will be returning to full time competition in 2018 as the driver of the #78 3M Dodge for 2018! Sean Perkins has won for this team back in 2015 at California driving their #78 Dodge!
Perkins near the mid part of the season announced he would retire as a race car driver when he was dealing with a concussion that ultimately was thought to be career ending but Perkins has worked hard to over come his concussion and was told by his doctor he could race if he wanted to. HorizonGroup and Sean Perkins have reached a deal for him to drive the #78 Dodge in 2018. With Perkins out of the car for awhile it makes you wonder if HorizonGroup won't go ahead and field him in their old 3rd car team they had for Matthew Rodriguez in the 77 for the rest of the year getting him ready for the full time season in 2018.
Sean Perkins had a concussion back in 2015 as well when he took a massive crash at Texas World in 2015 and had to sit out a few races. He recovered and went on to win multiple races. HorizonGroup reuniting with one of it's past drivers might be a good sign for a team that's struggled to crack the Top 20 in points and gather Top 10 finishes this year.

Arndt: I swear, if he actually does better than me, I may just go back down to HNS. Cause if a guy with a supposed concussion does well (and should've retired) and better than me, I will really wonder about the current state of affairs.

Sean: Laugh it up everyone. A concussion specialist looked me over again, and stated that the situation with my concussion history isn't as bad as previously thought. Second opinions are great.

Sean: I care about the greater good of the sport. I just have different opinions than most. I want more competition. I would like more cars capable of winning.

A Mary Sue is a chracter who's story line changes anytime it's convenient to make them able to do something when they couldnt. While Perkins may be the most flawed character this was an act of convenience.

Yes it was an act of convenience. Simply because it would be impossible to get a fair shot bringing another driver up the grid considering the management of the Hardee's National Series.
