Round 27 of Las Vegas
Within 10 races of deciding our champion, D.J. Kurtis holds a giant lead over his competitors for the title. Jeff James, Dom Caps, Jake Baskinger, Jesse Turner and Eugene Demax will all need to capitalize on Kurtis this weekend and start cutting into the gap of Kurtis' staggering point lead he holds over everyone at this point in the season.

Green Flag Pick: Jeffery Lynn
Jeffery Lynn is my green flag pick for this weekend just because he has been good here in the past. In 2016, Lynn nearly won both races here and earlier this year he was up front battling for the win. I think this could be Jeffery Lynn's race to show what he's made of. He also won here in the Hardee's National Series race earlier this year.
White Flag Pick: Jeff James
Jeff James is one of those most pick guys this weekend. Outstanding track record at Las Vegas. He's won 2 races here and has been a threat to win in the one race he didn't win. This has been Martin Motorsports' race track for the past few races. Martin Motorsports have won 3 of the last 5 races here and they're looking for a 4th win since the 2015 season. Jeff James will need to preform at his best if he wants to apply pressure to D.J. Kurtis to try and win the championship.
Checkered Flag Pick: Nick Mace
Nick Mace has won here 4 times in his career. He holds the record for most wins all time for one single track. This is a track that suits Nick Mace's driving style. Nearly every time we come here you know you're going to have to out run Nick Mace. Mace and his teammates were really fast here earlier this year but Martin Motorsports drivers of Jeff James and Dom Caps were able to beat them in the end. Look for Mace to be very strong and possibly win his 5th Las Vegas race of his career.
Black Flag Pick: Jesse Turner
In the past few races it seems as though the 17 team has been in a slump losing positions and valuable points. Turner went from only about a race behind Kurtis in the championship to over 2 races behind. Turner has been the worse driver of the championship contenders in the past few weeks and with Turner going to a track that hasn't really been his best in the past... I just don't know if he can turn it around and have a good weekend. He did win Atlanta earlier this season which is a 1.5 mile track. I just don't see Turner doing much this weekend.

Kurtis: "Strong effort for the CBM team, but I'm upset my teammate had issues at the end, he was a lot faster than me throughout the race. Hope Llamas can get another good break."

Griffin: "I'm happy we got the ROTY point, but it sucks we had a top 5 car and finished 15th because of lapped cars on that last run."
