Racers Digest: Replacements for Mace Enterprises?
This is an article dedicated to the possible best team in Sony Cup Series history, Mace Enterprises!
So, if you look at the roster of Mace Enterprises in 2016 all four racers are fairly old. The youngest being Jordan Davis in the #5 car. But, the older a person gets the more likely to retire that person will be. It's already been discussed that Richerd Johnson may retire after 2016, but what if all 4 drivers retired before 2020? Who would be suitable replacements? We're here to discuss that!
Jordan Davis -> Emma White
Jordan Davis, know as the champion who won his first championship on his debut season. Who would be a good fit to replace Davis? None other than his trainee Emma White. She attempted 2015 in the #42 for Allen Family Racing and did fairly well in it so she can obviously do good in much better equipment!
Richerd Johnson -> Ricky Johnson
The king, he's getting old. And he's running out of that Richerd magic, so out of every Mace Enterprises drivers he is rumoured to retire first. That means the only suitable replacement for him would be BFM developmental driver and his very own son Ricky Johnson. Not much is known about Ricky's driving skills, but if you're trained by the king from age 5 you have to be the next King!
Eugene Demax -> Nick Pericles
Demax, he's a legend who took a long hiatus but is coming back thirsty for wins. But how much does he have in him anymore? We'll find out I guess, but a suitable replacement for a retiring Demax would be Nick Pericles from the Pericles Possy. This guy can win, he has a attitude that'll get the job done and a temper that will make him stand up for his teammates if needed.
Nick Mace -> Cody Llamas
Mace, the founder and owner of Mace Enterprises and possibly the hardest to replace. He's not the king, but probably the best driver on Mace Enterprises right now. A suitable replacement for him is difficult to find. Kyle Collins? Bradley Bishop Jr? Jeff James? Jesse Turner? None of the above. The best replacement for him is surprisingly Cody Llamas. This guy has proved that he is a good driver, especially with the not-so-great equipment CBM has last year. He's also a Jimmie Johnson fan as well which is a plus!

I'm a bridesmaid. I always come close to winning or I'm consistent enough to make it to the championship race just being off by a few points. Anyways if anyone was to take the 48 off of Nick's hands it would be Ashley Mace, Cody Llamas, or pretty much anyone who only drives the 48 in almost every league.

Cavy is just as old as Jordan Davis so this make no sense

Really? I thought he was younger. I'll fix that later.MrKyleBusch1 wrote:Cavy is just as old as Jordan Davis so this make no sense
But the rest of the list makes sense somewhat? Right?

Matthew not so much. He came before Jordan I believe. Cody Llamas is new to the SCS though. Levi Pascoe will be starting part time this season and is a huge Jimmie Johnson fan. I think the 48 will go to someone who likes Jimmie.

... Some good points. Cody Llamas was my second choice for the #48 actually, I guess now I'll re-write the article but with Cody Llamas instead of Nick Mace!Mr.YAMP wrote:Matthew not so much. Not surprised there since Llamas has the #48 locked in other series, like the DWSR.

If Jordan Davis is leaving SCS it's because I left NR. Anyways unless a contract is offered Davis is out of the ride at the end of 2016.
