Elron Motorsports switches Manus, has no drivers lined up as of yet.
Elron Motorsports have announced that the team has switched
manufacturers due to a lack of communication from Chevy officials on their cars for next year. Eric Elron said of this: "I have called Chevy officials multiple times over these past few days and have recieved no word about our cars for next year, and their support for the team was not what we needed for next season, so we have parted ways with Chevy for another new manu...... the luxury car brand Rolls Royce have called us about racing their cars for next year, and after an offer of engines and personnel, we have decided to race these cars for next season."
Elron Motorsports was asked about their drivers for next season as well: "Right now we have sent out many offers, but no confirmations as of yet."

GLM signs Vance Caldwell as Griffin's replacement for season 25
1st year team GLM (founded by season 11 champion and current AES driver, Ryan Griffin) has found the driver to replace the retiring Griffin. Vance Caldwell, who is a free agent this offseason, will take over the #17 with sponsorship TBD (though it's rumored that HP Engineparts will return to sponsor both the 17 and 35). Caldwell had reported showed interest in GLM early on.
Griffin had this to say regarding Caldwell's hiring:
"He's [Caldwell] got a lot of potential. He's young and got a great understanding of what it takes to succeed. I believe with Kyle [Basaglia] as the senior mentor to Vance, this team will do well in season 25."

CJ Racing Signs 2nd Driver, Sponsor for S25!!!
After a an extra week of processing and decision making, CJ Racing has announced that they have re-signed Canadian racer and Protégé of the late Kyle Collins, Dornan Bouchard, for S25 of the ARCSOA Elite Series!
David Levin(CJ Racing President/CEO): "When it came down to decide who would be driving the #10, it really came down to only two or three drivers. But at the end of the day, we have been extremely impressed by Dornan's continued improvement, going from an unproven rookie who struggled at times during his first season, to a consistent threat for victories and a title contender already in his sophomore season. He has been a great driver to work with, and we are excited to continue to work with him through S25."
Dornan Bouchard will be bringing Canadian Burger Chain Harvey's as his main sponsor, and so will be driving the #10 Harvey's Chevy in S25.

FUEL Brothers Racing Announces Driver For Season 25
For Silly Season, FUEL Brothers Racing has been one that has been very mysterious with their plans when it comes to signing drivers. With top rides within the league getting filled left and right there was still a ride left open at FBR and it left many fans curious as to what the team was going to do after 2 of the best drivers in the series retire at seasons end from the team...
Not long ago, FBR announced that Bobby Jones would pilot the #96 Toyota for FBR which is basically the same race team that Kenny Myatt is driving for this season but will be renumbered.
We are going to turn it over to team owner Noah Hart as he announces the driver of the #18 Dairy Queen Toyota for Season 25.
Noah Hart: "It is with great pleasure to meet you all late tonight here at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to talk about our plans for next season. A lot of focus the last few weeks have been on making a championship run in my final year but we can't lose track on the future that lies after this season as well. I have been watching all these drivers with a watchful eye all year long and there has been a couple that have caught my eye and have impressed me. I have weighed my options very carefully and I genuinely believe this move for our race team could be a move that will help better us in the future. For Season 25, FUEL Brothers Racing is signing on Vince Freeze to field the #18 Dairy Queen Toyota. I'll tell you I was very impressed by this young man early in the year and we had talked a couple of times about this opportunity and he ended up going through a slump the past few races which has caused some doubt in our organization but I truly believe he's got what it takes regardless of his recent performance and think he can be a winner and back up our championship running season with another good year in Season 25. I'm very pleased about our driver line up of Bobby Jones and Vince Freeze in Season 25... I think they will do great things and I plan to be there backing them up every step of the way. However, we have a race on our hands and we are going to go out there and try and do the best we can to win one of the biggest prizes in all of motorsports, the Indy 250!"

Vince Freeze: I would like to thank the entire FBR Organization for signing me on to FBR. I appreciate Noah’s patience and persistence to allow me to be the predecessor of the legendary car and Noah Hart the driver. I can’t wait to see what the future holds in season 25. Looking forward to working with Bobby Jones next season as well. However, just like Noah Indy 250 is here and I still want to finish out the rest of the season and give RDR the finishes they deserve.

Daniel Nuteson, a 20-year-old racer out of Chicago is also looking for a ride. Daniel is Chase Dunbar's training partner and longtime teammate before Chase made the jump from the Indy Lights to ARCSOA. Daniel has sponsorship from ICEE and Addictive Fidget Spinners alongside Sbarro. If a team were to hire him, he would prefer the number 49 on his car as his sponsors support the use of #49 by Daniel.

Major free agents still to be hired
The majority of cars that are expected to perform at a high rate have been filled this year. However, there are still a number of high-quality free agents still left for the picking. Drivers like William Brock, Grayson Acevedo, Tristan Wilhoit, etc, are all ripe for the picking. However, there aren't many high-quality rides on the grid left. There is one Team Flame car left, and both the F&S cars, which both teams have struggled this year. The largest ride on the grid appears to be the remaining NOPEA Finland ride. NOPEA Finland seems to need to lock down who their leader will be with that team. They have a young, quick, but wildly-inconsistent driver in Chase Dunbar hired. They should really look for a veteran presence with someone like Tristan Wilhoit or William Brock.

Daniel Bouchard "May" go part time in the Elite Series.
The Junior Series competitor for Thundersport GP has taken lower level machinery to heights it couldn't really achieve, Bouchard said he's looking for a part time ride in the Elite Series for Season 25. The Canadian's relative dominance on road courses has turned a few heads, as the Canadian's wet weather skills are unmatched in the Junior Series, he's been called the "Wet Weather Master" by many as a homage to Murray Walker's comment on Ayrton Senna in 1986, when he started DEAD LAST in the field during a CTMP special race for Late Models, he was 10th by the end of the first lap.

Elron Motorsports announces official driver lineup for Season 25 at Press Confrence in Las Vegas
Eric Elron: "Well, after many months on the phone, scouting talent, and trying to decide who to sign.. we have found the drivers for our first year in operation:
"First I want to introduce the driver of the 08 Winstar World Casino car: Scott Roush! Roush is a great combination: a young driver with potential, and a veteran with years of experience, to build this team around. He will be a foundation of this team, and I hope for years to come."
"Second, I want to introduce the driver of the 09 Spaulding sports equipment car: Malachi Cohen! I see alot in Malachi. he is young, and this will be his first full season in ARCSOA. I wanted to give a driver an opportunity. I believe Malachi will be a future star and given time and the chance, success will be huge!"
"So to wrap this up, we are very excited to get to work in Season 25, and with our drivers lined up we are ready."

If you already have a ride on the full-time grid. I am eliminating secondaries. Since you have Ryan Jackson already. Paul probably won't get a full-time ride.

Team Flame Racing unexpectedly signs Tim Horton's as a sponsor. Alan Jobe said that the Canadian restaurant chain was interested in sponsoring them last season but opted out after Albertson's decided that they wanted in on the AES team. Jobe also said he is very excited to have them on his cars and hopes this is the beginning of a good relationship. The sponsor for Vincent Allen's #26 is still being negotiated. No word on who the negotiations are with.

Re: ARCSOA Season 25 Silly Season Thread (Big Changes)
Season 25 schedule may go through major change
There are a couple of rumors about a major change possibly coming to the schedule upcoming. The schedule involves another endurance race, that was given to Catawba Central International last year. The track once again leaves the Round of Ohio in complete limbo as many are unsure of the validity of the track after that rather insane chicane complex at the end of the track. Despite the track being outside the ARCSOA Hall of Fame facility.
However, the schedule changes may not end there. Port Skyline, despite having a rather fun finale the last few seasons, has been asking to move out of hurricane season, and open the season next season. This year's finale was noted for being run during Tropical Storm Olivia. A storm that questioned the sanity and the safety of the race at hand.
If Port Skyline jumps up to open the season, the question then becomes what might take the finale. No one is quite sure of that question.
