Tommy Turbo(President/CEO of CM Racing): "What a great start to speedweeks, qualifying in 4 of the top 7 spots! Hopefully we can keep this momentum up through the race and get a victory!"

Dodd:"Just hoping to have a nice, clean race, staying out of trouble and coming home in one piece."

Hallec barely makes it in to the race for FAR not only on Hallec's HNS Debut as well as the Team's Debut

Hallec: "Aye, I barely made it in. Maybe it be because of my machinery? Ah well, I be stoked for this race! May it mark my, and this team's debut well!"

John Arndt: We have good chances this year. Taking on the veteran role here at CM Racing will be a fun experience. We need to stay alive this weekend. We didn't do so well last year by not having speed, but we seem to have that this year. 

Jeff Davis: We're excited here. We have a lot more speed than what we expected. Alexander Rowe has given us a bunch of hope for this season. It's going to be a tough one, but we'll take the season to learn the car and we can come into next season with a lot of power. Let's do this.

Hannah: "Wow..... what a car we have for this weekend! starting on the front row for my first start, certainly an amazing way to start my time here at CM Racing. My goal is to just survive and learn this weekend."

P3 for the Fisher Motorsports Toyota. Fast!

J. Kurtis: "Really proud of our efforts today for the team, hopefully West and Williams can rack up some solid results at the end of the race!"

Very happy to give the Martin father/son combo a chance to do well with TPR. One more day until we find out how they do!

John Arndt (long after the race because John declined an interview into find the driver of the 74 car): We had a great car, ran up front for most of the day, but...

Thoughts on late-race wreck:

Richardson: "Well, I guess our Zest Ford has had better days, even with me behind the wheel. Don't get me wrong, Luke is an exceptionally talented race car driver, just caught in the wrong circumstances at the wrong time. Typical Daytona stuff. Anyway, I'm looking forward to get back in the 17 car again, and hopefully get our team some good results in the long run."

Dodd: "I want to thank Scott Roush and Roush Family Racing for allowing me a chance to get some experience for the 500 in one of these HNS rides. I learned a lot, and it was good to go out there and get a full race under my belt.

The car actually felt pretty good that first part of the race, but lap traffic really held us up there at one point, and I think that cost us a bit in terms of finishing position. But we kept the car clean, and ultimately that was what they asked for, so I am very pleased that we were able to accomplish that."

Hallec: "It be a shame I fail ta' do a bit more for me team in the biggest race of th'year. Thanks t'ya, Fitzwater for lending me this #59 Pirtek Toyota fer the year. I hope t'do'ya proud!"
