2016 TEAM CONTRACTS

After the controversy in the Sony Cup Series with Skye Commons leaving and abandoning Redbull for Martin Motorsports and causing a lot of commotion between everyone it has led to a lot of chaos. Lots of people think we need a drivers union to help enforce issues like drivers getting fired or released from there so called contracts. We have found that these little driver and team agreement orders of signing a driver is not working because whenever a team or driver feels like it, they can either leave or get released whenever a driver or team owner feels like it.

We saw problems with this a lot in 2015 and transferring over to 2016, Kyle Collins getting fired after Round 2... Which at the time was pretty harsh by Coorweiser because they wanted friend Skye Commons! Pericles won for Coorweiser then 2 races later was released due to lots of arguing and team conflict for weeks, Pericles was fired after Round 11, Sean Perkins and Nick Mace agreeing on the terms in September of 2015 for Perkins to drive for Mace in 2016, Mace later in October going back on what he wanted and released Perkins, and our latest big controvery team ordeal Skye Commons leaving Redbull for Martin Motorsports when Redbull had no idea.


These team agreement orders where what caused a lot of tension between a lot of people. The SCS Officials have thought of what could be the best way to help keep things more at ease. We are actually going to do our own Team Contracts.


NOW I NEED EVERY TEAM OWNER TO GET WITH THEIR DRIVER AND AGREE ON A SET CONTRACT. DO NOT SET YOUR CONTRACT ON A DRIVER FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR IF YOU WISH TO RELEASE THEM LATER ON IN THE SEASON! This is to help decrease the tension and help bring more realism.

Vincent and Sean is going to go thru 2016 but Fitzwater is going to have a contract till July of 2016 since he was originally going to be part time so he will go thru his original plan. If he does good, he'll get a new contract to finish his season.

And I had talked about this in the Union.. xD

@Nick, ask him off YouTube, off of the Talladega video. That's how I asked him if he was interested in RSR.

Vincent: "I'll sign any contract Red Bull gives to me."

Andreas: "I would like to sign Ryan a contract for all of the 2016 season, if he wants it."

Micheal White has confirmed a Contract to the end of 2017.

To the end of 2017? Is he sure about that? Lol that means 2 years of RSR. That means you can't fire him at all no matter what happens and White will be in the series til then for a guranteed sure.

Just a reminder. If a driver on your team struggles and you wish to fire a driver on your team. You can't just fire somebody anymore. You will have to go through with your contract with them until it is done. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SET A YEARLY CONTRACT. To make things easy so if a driver performs bad and you want a better driver in the seat you can set the contract til (for example, July 2016) and by July you can either extend the contract or release them and get another driver. Make sure you guys are good with your contracts because signing contracts for 2 years is a bit of a stretch. You could find a better ride or better driver you might want in-between that time but if you're happy with the contracts I'm cool with it. Just know once a contract is signed, there's no going back until the contract is finished and time for a new one.

I'm sticking with what I got. I trust Sean and Vincent thru the whole year but I'm testing Fitzwater till July

I'm leaving that loop hole in my contracts. Same one I had last season with Alan. I'm not going to randomly drop them, but I'll talk to them and see if they are okay with it. Same thing I did with Alan last season. He was fine giving Devin the ride because I talk with him.

Both Baskinger and Burton are with TFR for the full season.

The contract for James Shelly as of now is a full season ride. At the end of 2016, if he stays, he stays. If he goes, he goes.

Have not had contact with Dajon Weeks. I'll give him a week to send me a message.

William Brock Every track but superspeedways. In the #66 Chevy. Almost full 2016 season.

@finguy, if you sign him on for a full year you know there will be no, "if he stays, he stays. if he goes, he goes" he will be on the team all year if you sign him for that.

@Yamp, William is a rookie so if he does bad, you can't release him. Say he fails to qualify for races lots and lots of times and you want a new driver you can't release him since you have him for all year.

If you give a driver a contract you should be allowed to fire them as it's your team. But the reason should have to be so good... Like, really good.

For example, if a driver is shit talking your team and their equipment in April 2016 but you have them till November 2016, you should be allowed to fire them then.

Or if they're like Wilhoit and leave the NR community for good in June 2016 and you have one of that persons drivers you should be allowed to fire that driver and get an active person!

Things like that, also, me and Collins were taking and Rick Shultz has a contract until after the 2016 season (don't know when that would be) since he isn't returning for 2017.

Collins is Confirmed for RSR Till July of 2016.

RSR is still interested in Micheal Cavagnaro, but they want to test the line up they have at the moment.
