Round 12 of Charlotte

Post by FUEL on May 29th 2018, 5:09 pm

Coming into the Round of Charlotte, Jesse Turner has took over the point lead from Dom Caps yet again in what looks to be a year long battle for the points lead. Turner pulled out another Top 10 in his consistent year while his contenders of Dom Caps and Jake Baskinger fell flat at the high banks of Talladega and failed to capitalize on any ground. Turner leads the points by a pretty hefty margin coming into this race weekend but Caps, Baskinger and the rest of the field will look to rebound after a crazy weekend at Talladega.

Sean: That was the most boring SCS race I have ever been a part of. SCS needs to change the racing package. The race only had like three people that could win the race the entire day. That's quite frankly appaling...

OOC: To be fair, that race was a snoozer until 2 laps to go.

D. Kurtis: "We were pretty off on our race trim, and were lucky we didn't get lapped. Good call by my crew chief, it saved our tails and got us a 3rd place finish. That itself is an achievement."

J. Kurtis: "Solid top 30s are what we need, and seeing Harple with his speed gives us a good impression on what that Athenian equipment has to offer in the future."
