A lot of talk has been circulating recently in the garage area in the Sony Cup Series and a move bound to change the face of the series as SCS Officials have decided to make a movement within the racing series for the first time ever the Sony Cup Series will be limiting race teams with how many race cars they can enter on any given race day. Following the 2018 Season, the Sony Cup Series will see teams be forced to downsize their race teams to a 2 car organization for the 2019 Season.


Teams like Mace Enterprises, Martin Motorsports, Turner Performance, YAMP Motorsports, Allen Family Racing Team, HorizonGroup and Blue Flare Motorsports will all be forced to downsize to 2 car organizations.
