2018 Round 11: Richmond

Post by DKurtis on June 28th 2018, 5:19 pm

After a wild 2nd half of Myrtle Beach, the points gap between Jake West and TJ Martin remain as close as ever. With 3 points separating the two contenders, it also brought more momentum for the other contenders in the points standings, as they also gained traction in terms of the championship fight. With Richmond coming up, we saw the chaos from last year, with a multitude of spins, crashes, flips, and oil. Will TJ Martin be able to maintain his points gap on West, or will West take it back? (OOC: The race will be next Friday at the most, since it is an off week technically)

John Arndt:
Finally:
"I can't believe it. I've done it. A full season and 11 races have been a hard journey. I've come close before too many times to count and to finally get it done. Seeing my teammates pull it off before me was a fuel for me to get it done because I knew I had the ability, but the chance hadn't happened yet. I'm so thankful for CM Racing for sticking with me all through my hard times to finally see this to come to fruition. I knew starting third would be difficult and that I wanted to make sure I could get around the top 2, which I did with ease. After that is was controlling the race and making sure I could get around/past the lapped traffic. Once again, thank you for the confidence to my team and it's time to get more wins."

Jeff Davis: To come out of this race in 16th after starting 40th is amazing. This team has no give up. Everything fell into our favor and now we do it again."
