2018 Round 12: Canadian Tire
The points gap between TJ Martin and Jake West remain as close as ever, but with John Arndt's victory, the gap between 3rd on back have been decreasing, putting more drivers into the championship hunt. Canadian Tire is a tricky road course to tame, but when executed right, you could be on a hot streak of consistent laps. Track position will be fundamental as well, as starting up front could guarantee you a top 10. There have been many areas of calamity, especially within the last couple of corners, leading to drivers slamming into the tire barriers.
Sean Angel and Daniel Bouchard are fellow Canadians, so many fans will be cheering for him in trying to achieve his first ever Hardee's victory.

Re: 2018 Round 12: Canadian Tire
Demax qualifies on pole over Road America winner Benyacko
Eric Demax has had many events of bad luck in the season, as he currently runs 25th in the points standings after joining the season late. The son of Eugene Demax ran almost two tenths faster than Road America winner Alex Benyacko, who is also trying to recover from a slump of bad finishes that have dropped him down further in the points. Richmond winner John Arndt will be starting the race 3rd, as he is going to attempt to try and get 2 wins in a row, as he is currently 4th in the points standings. Turner Performance is looking to seek redemption as Richardson and Martin were close to obtaining victory at Road America. Richardson will start 5th, while Martin struggled in qualifying and would wound up 21st.
Hometown heroes of Sean Angel and Daniel Bouchard will start 4th and 33rd respectively.

Arndt: Still a lot of work to do after losing many opportunities for points in the first races. Still, need to turn heads and I'll be ready.

Re: 2018 Round 12: Canadian Tire
Tommy Turbo(President/CEO of CM Racing): "Pleased with how the entire CM Racing team ran this weekend, first time we've had 3 cars in the Top 5 this year, so while we didn't lead any laps today, we are certainly still improving. Hopefully we can take some of what we learned here and take it to Watkins Glen next week, another road course, and go for a victory there!"

Re: 2018 Round 12: Canadian Tire
J. Kurtis: "We honestly missed the setup for our cars today, but Cory held his ground for a top 10, but West couldn't really gain much ground throughout. We'll look into this definitely. If we want to win another championship, we gotta nail these setups properly."
