Round 24 of Darlington

Post by FUEL on August 30th 2018, 1:00 pm

We're back at Darlington. The championship is creeping in ever so slowly. Jesse Turner bounced back at Road America and extended his point lead to 23 points after a miserable start to the race last time out. Dom Caps and Nick Mace will be looking for any way to close in this weekend. Mace has won here at Darlington multiple times in his career. Another special win at Darlington would be huge for him in the championship and for Dom Caps, scoring his first win at Darlington this weekend would tie him for most wins all time in a single season and put him on track for his 2nd championship. However, Jesse Turner will be looking for his 2nd Darlington victory as well. As for the other drivers on the grid, they want to win in one of the most special events on the calendar here at Darlington... who will come away victorious this weekend?

D. Kurtis: "We are really struggling with our qualifying setup, it seems we're way off. We'll have to march our way up yet again, so that'll be fun I suppose."

J. Kurtis: "Both cars making the race is such a grand thing, we've got a lot of work to do in order for our cars to be better in the race."

"34th. Finally a race where nobody takes us out. Also showed how much speed we have gained this year. From not qualifying to making 2 consecutive races, then coming out and actually being faster than some of the people in this series in the race."
