Epik Motorsports shuts down doors, Vance Caldwell retires come Season 6’s end

In recent news, Vance Caldwell, owner of the fast Rank A team, Epik Motorsports has decided to shut down Epik Motorsports to focus on other things and the owner himself, will retire at the end of season 6.
Vance Caldwell has turned the sheets over to Jack Hallec, who recently has become involved with Thundersport GP in Panasonic Lites. He will be the new owner and will bring a new slew of changes to the paddock.

Thundersport GP will shut down its doors

Thundersport GP, who has had an alright stint in Panasonic Lites with former owner, Andrew Van Zant, has changed hands to Jack Hallec, and Hallec has decided to shut down Thundersport GP and merge it with Epik Motorsports to form ‘Thundersport Racing Australia’ and will focus on one team, rather than dealing with the likes of Epik Motorsport and Thundersport GP, as well as his own career, which he intends to continue running with.

It will be sad to see Epik Motorsports, and Vance Caldwell, veteran of the Sunoco Elite Series retire come season 7, but the legacy of Caldwell and Epik Motorsports will live on under new management from Jack Hallec, and a new name.

Thundersport Racing Australia to keep its line-up into S7
Lorenz Alog, Hans Windhelm and Gerrard Oran have the opportunity to be hired back in S7, as per request, all three be hired back on for S7, regardless of their S6 results. It all depends on if Oran, Windhelm or Alog will return on their own terms.

Non-charters join the fray!

Earlier this season it was rumored that some new teams would join the fray with Season 6's new charter system. Well that rumor has come true as the first team was announced today, Chairman and CEO Kyle Basaglia states, "With the Panasonic Lites going into its second season, and our new charter system taking shape, this has left some open space for some part-time teams. We can confirm we have sent invitations, but one of them has already accepted! We would like to welcome to the SES garage Fallout Racing!"

Fallout Racing was said to be joining due to high performance and some recent funding from Season 3 champion Max Anderson. They have yet to announce a manufacturer, drivers, or sponsors, but the team is ready for action!
