CTRS Round 5: Watkins Glen Empty CTRS Round 5: Watkins Glen

OOC: Literally my third attempt at this race. First time it was Winupd that ruined it all, second time I forgot my guest account wasn't a local admin. Oh well.
Same non charter qualifiers: 44, 23, 99, 32, 68, 39, 02
DePlatt on pole
Lap 7: DePlatt still leading, Hunter tried for it last lap but wasn't in the draft into the bus stop costing her time. Freeze is 26th with Carmichael 29th.
Lap 9: Rehall to the lead. Lukewalker going for second.
Lap 11: Hunter to second. John up to third breaking the Champions Racing Tech strategy.
Lap 7: Ashton Stryger was way too aggressive early, takes out Johnson and Hightower in Turb 1. No caution.
Lap 17: Louise Johnson goes a lap down and holds up second place.
Lap 19: 45 to the lead, Johnson goes to blocking off Rehall.
Lap 20: Rehall to the lead, Johnson finally retreats.
Lap 21: 45 back out front as Rehall makes his pit stop. Hightower will also be a factor.
Lap 23: Caution as there's a big crash entering the pits! Hunter went wide entering the pits, sending Ike Gonzalez into Tripontakio Vernio. Hunter hits the pit wall (as does Vernio) and collects William McDonald. Jackson, Roberts, and Merrick also with some damage.
Lap 25: Dimundi leads on the start, but Sandfer takes the spot in the bus stop after the 05 got a bad start.
Lap 31: The top 4 are all former road course winners: 05 (Miller Utah S9), 40 (Black Hills S8), 70 (Watkins Glen S8), 27 (Thornton S7). New leader, Dimundi in the 40.

Lap 32: McFarland back by Dimundi.
Lap 33: That spells the end of Vince Freeze's day after he punted Alexia Wise into the trap in the bus stop.
Lap 35: Sandfer out front as the 05 drops back to fourth. Carmichael is in sixth, she looks to gap the 11 even more.
Lap 37: Jake Moss out front. Sandfer gave him a run for his money in the esses.
Lap 39: Freeze calls it a day. He will finish 40th, Wise is still out on track but she looks like a rolling time bomb.
Lap 40: Carmichael takes the lead from her ClimberTech teammate. Carmichael is a former Watkins Glen winner in Season 8, when she took everyone else by storm.
Lap 43: Moss back out front despite Carmichael's valiant effort, never mind as Dimundi goes out front.
Lap 45: Lukewalker to the lead. Moss has pitted. Louise Johnson back on the lead lap. Dalton stays out with Hightower to lead a lap.
Lap 47; Anderson stays out as the caution comes out! Bul Dalton just played that one perfectly! Wilson Wallace tried to cut off Mooney but instead sent him wrecking into Rehall's path.
Lap 48: Lukewalker leads, but he will have to deal with McDonald on the restart.
Lap 50: Moss out front. But he gets crossed over by Lukewalker.
Lap 51: Kevin Anderson sent Michael McKalister into the gravel, no caution.
Lap 53: New leader: Dimundi. Caution out as Anderson and Merrick have an altercation in the esses. Merrick flipped. Leader: Dimundi. Most of the top 10 stayed out.
Lap 55: Lukewalker to the front on the start. Carmichael closing from third.
Lap 57: CRT now claims 4 of the top 5. Can never get these guys away from the lead.
Lap 60: Carmichael to the lead. Maddie Hightower having a stellar day in 6th.
Lap 63: Lukewalker using Turns 4 and 7 to take the lead back from Carmichael.
Lap 64: DePlatt, the polesitter finds his way back to the front.
Lap 68: 53 to the lead, the leaders are app down except John and a few others. Is this enough to get them all the way to lap 90? We know the 45, 27, 47, 65, 14, 59, 57, 02, 32, 38, 20, 39, and 34 can go all the way.
Lap 73: Roberts is the last driver yet to pit.
Lap 74: New leader: LAFTER STUCOLÉ???
Lap 82: Carmichael up to the lead. Caution is out. Dawson had had enough of William McDonald and the two spun off the bus stop. Everyone's got another chance at Carmichael now.
Lap 90: Off Turn 7 side by side, Jake Moss wins at Watkins Glen on a last lap pass!
