2018 Verizon Cup Series: Round 1 @ Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Round 1 @ Indianapolis Motor Speedway {Speedway, Indiana}
The time has come... the wait is finally over.....
The 2018 Verizon Cup Series is here! The racing fans and the paddock have been very patient with the officials of the VCS on the start of the season. Coming into this round, there are many drivers to look out for. This is Indianapolis, anybody can win it.
Although, drivers like William Barton & Alex Benyacko are to watch out for. Throughout testing, they have been the pacers of the field.
As all eyes are set on center stage, who will become victorious in the opening round of the 2018 Verizon Cup Series?

Barton: It is finally time to get rolling. Thank the heavens!
James Taylor: The entire team has been fast this pre-season testing, and I am very much hoping for the best. Barton has been blazing quick, Benyacko is a rocketship, and I've won several excursions on track. It makes me stoked for this season to finally start, to finally see what this team can do, and to finally prove that we deserve this spot here. Good luck to everybody out there! Stay safe and catch me if you can.

Pericles: It feels good to be back, hopefully I can finally use this season to pass Smallwood with All-Time wins! This will be one interesting race!
Smith: I just want to get a good result and hopefully win this race! But first we have to Qualify well.

A. Benyacko: "Testing has been wonderful for most of us at Ditech Motorsports. But of course, testing proves nothing. It's all about performing when it counts. Hopefully Indy will be the start of a great season for all three of us."

Taylor: 6th, 9th and 17th. Good qualifying to start out our season. Let's get'em done, boys!
William Barton: I feel comfortable with that run in qualifying. This car seems very fast and I felt no issues throughout practice and qualifying. Good luck to all racing.
