South Boston was a junk race for us. I thought we'd be okay with all of us starting on the inside line. But due to the lack of a caution flag we had to hang on for dear life the whole race and our cars gave up their edge real easy.

DING DING DING BIG NEWS!!!

Looks like the hopes of us moving up to a 4-car fleet may just happen. Which is awesome, to say the least. Anyway, the big news is: Luke Martin will pilot one of our cars for the 2017 season in the #6 Ford. Sponsors that he will bring will be Sharpie, Valvoline, and Viagra. Couldn't be more stoked to bring a veteran like him aboard our team. Welcome to TFR man! And Jake Baskinger accepted the offer to extend his contract, so he will remain in the #97 Kellogg's/Cheez-It Ford for all of next season too. Details about the driver/sponsor lineup for our fourth car remain TBA.

I almost dropped and broke a glass reading this. I'm hella surprised. Does this mean Eric Burton won't be returning?

When I heard the news, I was shocked. Then I thought about it and I remembered that Steven Jenkins won the last race meaning this could be a way to get Jenkins in the ride. This is a good move for Martin and smart if this goes through.

Thats true. Because now with an extra ride on Martin Motorsports available, Steven Jenkins can get a ride, and his other 3 drivers (James, me, and Taylor) aren't at risk of losing a ride. Unless it isn't Jenkins he's using the free ride for...

Fine, I messed up, sorry everyone. Got too anxious and forgot about next month to post it. But since I can't take the news back now idk what I should do. If it means Rykia or another admin has to step in and punish me somehow then I'm fine with that. Tbh I just scrolled past most of the comments above this, cause I can tell it's just a flood of shock and negativity if I go up there. I can't take it back, sorry again, it's completely my fault.

It's fine man, I understand, it happens. Heck, I've had to stop myself a couple of times from saying things too soon in NR2003. But anyway, I hope you don't get in trouble for being excited about your team next year!

Tbh, it's not that big of a deal. It'd be stupid for you to get punished for that.

Been a while since I did my recap posts here, but now I'll continue on. Pocono was okay for the most part. Carson did a great job all race long, stayed consistent, and held on for a top-5 finish. For Burton and I, really can't say the same lol.

Into the Irish Hills of Michigan for the 22nd round of the season. Awesome job by the #97 to get his first career pole, but sadly he got caught up in the huge wreck with the #3 and #60, Carson went up and over as well. Burton did great to fight for the win but came up short. I gotta find more speed for myself too lol but I'm sure more good runs will come eventually.

Race #23 brings us to America's heartland, Kansas. Good fun track to race at but all of us couldn't fight our way through the pack as well as we hoped. I had a tight car the whole race and couldn't do much. Oh well, could be worse though.

Onto Sebring in Florida for race 24 of 2016. I saw the intense battle with the leaders in front of me but I had nothing for them. Good to see future TFR driver Luke Martin come out on top, nice day overall for everyone with the blue oval. Same with Carson for his first start on a road course, and with Burton making it an all TFR top-10!

Myrtle Beach SC for the 25th round of the season. However we should've just went to the beach and not the track. Not too good of a round for all three of us. Once we got caught on the high side it was tough to get our momentum back. Carson got the worst end of it finishing way back in the field. Hope one of us can cash in those blue chips in Las Vegas.

Viva Las Vegas! Pretty good to say the least. Carson got a top-10 from the pole, and Eric and I are in the chase. That in itself is so cool. I'm gonna try to defend my title from last year and Eric's trying to win his first championship in over 10 seasons.

Yay Carbondale. Although it was the first round of the chase Eric and I couldn't make a good day out of it. Carson's always had a rough time getting used to short tracks. Glad that race is out of the way.

Just a small heads-up, I'm going to Watkins Glen this weekend for the IndyCar race there so I'll be absent from here for a few days.

The throwback race at Darlington for race #28 of the season. In terms of the fan response to the weekend, it was great. Lots of people in the crowd and for us to meet in the infield. Glad a couple of us got top-5 finishes to back it up. On my end, so close yet so far again at Darlington. But at least this is a track I can be confident about next time we race there cause of the strong runs I've had.

Back to my home state of NEW YAWK for race 29. Thankfully had a good finish to please the fans in the Empire State. Unfortunately Carson and Eric got caught up in a few scraps.

The 30th race on the schedule brought us to Texas today. Haven't raced there since season 13 so it was a question mark on how our cars were gonna be. Thankfully Eric and I got great finishes. Sadly for Carson, he got wrecked and finished dead last. It's definitely not what he needed, best of luck to him at Willow Springs. Then Jake Baskinger will come back at California, so we'll be excited for that when that race weekend arrives.

The Hardee's series 9th race of the year took place at South Boston. Both Carson and Dajon did great to come up through the field, unfortunately Carson had nowhere to go in the last wreck. Dajon carried on though so I'm still proud of that.
