2016 AutoZone Truck Series Trucks

UPDATE #1: I am SOOOO excited to tell you guys, I am having SOOO much fun painting. Thank you to everyone that helped me figure it out, and to Mr.YAMP(Benjamin) and also TNTMan93 for making the painting videos.

The #15 truck is almost done, just need to add a couple of sponsors and details. I do have 3 questions though...

1. What is the program to be able to take pictures of the cars/trucks?
2. How to I convert the PSD(or BMP/TGA) to a .CAR file?
3. Who am I supposed to send the .CAR file to when I am done.

1. I use CarViewer, but that may not exist for the mod we're using here! Some more proffesional painters use rendering programs and YAMP for example uses ingame to get the pictures.
2. Well, if you're using Gimp put the .psd file into the program, go to extract as (I think) and instead of saving as a .psd do .car. Or you can send it to Pericles as a .tga.
3. Send your cars to Pericles!

OK thanks! And yes, Carviewer does work, that is what I am using to check out the car, I just did not know that it was also the one to take pictures with.

Ok, I will probably be able to send the car to him tomorrow!! I am so excited!!

Also, WARNING TO FINNISH909, PREPARE TO CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LOOK AWAY!!!

The truck is FINISHED!!! I am so excited! I will try to get the pictures posted tonight, if not tomorrow. YES!!!!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the 1st EVER car I have painted for anything NR2003 related. I hope that you like it(except for FINNISH909, I already know he won't like it LOL).

@Dodd, here are some things I would do:
         • Make the Krispy Kreme logos on the back part of the truck a little smaller 
         • Make the number bigger, possibly consider a new number font cause that one is kind of plain. Bigevilracing have some good font sets and Masgrafx does too!

Great Paint, But If The Number can be larger (Like Kyle Suggested)

OK, since LITERALLY EVERYONE on both this forum and the NNSCRA FB Page have said to change the number, I'll go ahead and do it. I was originally going to leave it as it is to remind me of the first car/truck I have ever painted, but since I know you guys know more than me, I'll get it done!

BTW: Pericles, did the TGA file I sent to you work? Just making sure...

That's waaaaaay better than my first attempt. It could use a bit of work (mainly with the deck lid logos), but I really like that.

For you to say that... wow... now I am ecstatic that I decided to paint the truck What in particular needs to be done with the deck lid logos? I have to make a couple of changes to the car anyway, so I'll wait for you to let me know and then fix it. Thank you so much for all you's guys compliments and suggestions!

Pericles, I have decided to also paint the #8 car. It might not be in that paint scheme order(I may change the main scheme to SpeedCo instead of Spyoptic), but I am really pumped into doing them after all these comments

I can do the 33, 12, and 17. I'd have to wait and see what sponsor the 33 will have.

The #33 needs a driver too ....

Do What You can do! Amazing First Car, It took me a week to put a god damn stripe on a car!

Dodd: And those stripes are completely hand painted!!!

OOC: No, literally, for those tiny Orange lines I pressed SHIFT and went back and forth until I felt like they were thick enough. I think I am going to go easy on this car, I have a paint scheme in mind that is based off of a real scheme that is pretty basic, and then I am going to try to add a little bit to it to hopefully make it nice... It'll probably take me 6 hours to do LOL!!

Oh and can you send me the newer #15?

I'll have to do it tommorow, I am on my phone right now and am not able to get to my computer.
