One Race Til The Chase... One Last Chance...

One race til the chase starts... That means there's only one chance left at getting a spot in the playoffs! We already have 12 drivers locked into the Chase!

5. #24 Eugene Demax (2)
6. #83 Jacob Hart (2)
7. #6 Luke Martin (2)
8. #5 Jordan Davis (2)

11. #17 Jesse Turner (1)
12. #01 Jeff James (0)

Those 12 are in by wins and are ahead of 26th in points by over a race and can not fall outside the top 25 in points so they will have a chase spot! Jeff James has had an amazing year solid in points currently 3rd in main points he is 50 points over the next driver behind him without a win so no matter what Jeff James even with no wins is locked into the chase.

Levi Pascoe and Matthew Rodriguez have wins this season and currently hold chase spots but are not in the good of being locked in yet. Levi is only 31 points ahead of 26th in points so it is possible of him falling outside the Top 25 in points next race. Same with Matthew Rodriguez who has fought a hard road to hold a chase spot. He sits 25th in points only 15 points ahead of Maalik Nevins in 26th in points. Rodriguez needs a good race at Las Vegas to hold his chase spot because rule is you must be inside the Top 25 in points for your win to get you a chase spot!

If we don't have a driver that has yet to win this season win at Las Vegas the point fight would remain between 4 drivers to make the final spots in the chase... Dillon Young, Eric Burton, Zebulun Stark and Aaron Taylor are the only ones that can make the chase off points besides Jeff James who is already locked in.

If Levi Pascoe and Matthew Rodriguez make the chase like they are right now... and nobody wins that has yet to win this season... the final chase spots will be decided by these 4 drivers. Dillon Young has had an amazing year all season but has done miserable a lot in the past few races placing him back near the cut line when he was 2 races ahead for majority this season.

However... we still have a handful of drivers that are still eligible of making this years Chase For The Championship. They will need to win Las Vegas for their hopes to even be a reality. For these drivers they have no other option of making the chase they have to win Las Vegas to make the chase. Some drivers on this list are right around 25th in points. Even if they win Las Vegas they will still need to be inside the Top 25 in points for it to count!

For those drivers they still are mathematically eligible of making the Top 25 in points and with a win and if everything goes their way... They could be walking out of Las Vegas with a Chase spot!
