Lap 13: Gonzalez and Rehall reach the top 10. Gonzalez showing well as the replacement for injured Tripontakio Vernio.
Lap 18: Some drivers already having issues, like McFarland, Icks, Garrison, Lukewalker, LaPlante, Mills, and Turbo.
Zachary Fitzwater with a header problem on lap 25, and other casualties to pit road such as Joki Lethinen and Benoit Irvine.
Jordan Scar pits on lap 30, possibly marking the start opf scheduled pit stops?
Lap 31: First caution. Chris Dodd hits the wall and comes down in front of Nathan Hood. Hood hits the wall and collects S.O Garrison. Benoit Irvine comes up into Charles Jackson trying to avoid sending Benoit spinning.

Lap 33: Under caution pit stops gave Jon Bunnell the lead for the first time in his career.
Lap 35: 2nd Caution: PJ Williams hits the wall off turn 4 and comes down into Tuberculosis Merritt. Thankfully no one else was involved.

Lap 38: PJ Williams takes the lead on pit stops under caution.
Lap 42: Williams pits, Bunnell leads.
Lap 43: Bunnell pits, Dumindu leads.
Lap 45: Ike Gonzalez now leads!
Lap 46: Dodd by Gonzalez.
Lap 47: Sandfer by Dodd.
Lap 54: Moss by Sandfer.
Lap 58: Rehall finally gets to the lead. Ike Gonzalez falls out of the top 10.
Lap 67: 3rd Caution- Ricard Kruger turns Aidan Shepherd, causing Jon Bunnel to be slow and be ran over by Austin LaPlante. Two drivers, namely Tuberculosis Merritt and Jartvi Lethinen had nowhere to go while attempting to avoid, ending LaPlante and Lethinen's days.

Lap 70: Hood takes the lead on caution pit stops.
Lap 73: Roman Rehall has wrecked but no caution.
Lap 75: 4th Caution- Bronchitis Moss gets turned by Lexi McFarland. He hits Benoit Irvine then comes down the track and damages Lexi Mills. Moss is out. Dodd got the wall racing back, coming down into Kellie Allen. Allen went down and hit Ricard Kruger, sending Allen back up into Dodd, collecting Dumindu in the process.

5th Caution: Jefff Bright turns Dumindu.

Lap 150: Lexi McFarland takes the lead on green pit stops.
Lap 152: Ike Gonzalez takes the lead from McFarland.
Lap 158: Roush by Gonzalez.
Lap 159: Roush has a problem! Ike Gonzalez takes the lead!
Lap 161: Ike Gonzalez is OUT OF GAS!

6th Caution: Scott Roush stalls on track after issues on the 90.

Lap 171: Deb Bunnell takes the lead. Her son Jon led earlier, now its her turn!
Lap 172: Nathan Hood takes the lead
Lap 181: Lexi McFarland takes the lead back.
Lap 184: Officially halfway with McFarland leading...
Lap 192: Rehall takes the lead from McFarland!
Lap 226: Eli Bright led the lap but gets passed by Rehall on pit road.
Lao 227: Rehall gets cycled back to being the officially scored leader.
Lap 251: There are only 5 cars on the lead lap. Rehall, Hood, Deb Bunnell, McFarland, and Zach Shepperd.
Lap 254: Shepperd gets lapped by Rehall.
Lap 265: Jordan Scar has clutch issues with 100 to go. Also issues for Benoit Lothaire Irvine.
Lap 289: Lexi McFarland takes the lead at the line but Rwehall passes him on pit road.
Lap 290: Sandfer takes the lead.
Lap 291: Rehall takes the lead back and the caution is out! Rehall is on a lap of his own out there!

Lap 291: 7th Caution: Jeff Bright dumps Lexi Mills. Luca Icks hits Mills, as does Turbo, SO Garrison, Nathan Hood, Deb Bunnell. Roman Rehall barely missed and is now on a lap of his own.

Lap 303: 8th Caution: Charles Jackson and Charles Sandfer collide. Failed to mention that Nathan Hood, Lexi Mills, Luca Icks, Tommy Turbo, and SO Garrison were retired after the 7th caution.
Lap 315: Shepperd, Sandfer, and Gonzalez have unlapped themselves.
Lap 338: Rehall back on a lap of his own.
Lap 353: Deb Bunnell has pitted signaling that the race could come down to pit strategy. Remember Rehall started 19th, putting his pit stall before the finish line!
Lap 367: Last lap for Lexi McFarland! She wins at Darlington!

The Southern 500 just finished. It was a good race but the ending was the best part, due to pitb strategy, Roman Rehall had to pit with 3 laps to go. Lexi McFarland had enough fuel to go the distance and won.

Arguably the best race so far this season was the one we just saw at Zen Joltis. After a scary crash for Tripontakio Vernio gave him even more severe injuries Luca Icks was successful in getting her first career win.

Oh and it was Ike Gonzalez that was hurt, not Vernio! Since I forgot to change the name on the opponent manager it still says Gonzalez was driving! Vernio gets to take over at Rusty's Tuesday.

The Round of Rusty's was just ran. It was not just the typical Roush-Rehall fest but when it came time Rehall did the job right and won the race. Joki Lethinen was leading off Turn 4 but pitted on the last lap leaving the race wide open for a battle between Rehall and Bronchitis Moss. Rehall shut the door and drafted Charles Sandfer to the win.

If one of them wins, it will be my 20th win in NR2003, though most of those wins were in my league which I shut down for CTRS. BTW the Trucks and Builders are not happening unril S2. It's already too late now to turn back and do those series.

Lap 2: Lexi Mills has taken 2nd.
Lap 3: 3 wide for 2nd! Dodd takes it!
Lap 5: Eli Bright to 2nd Kellie Allen to 3rd.
Lap 7: Dodd clears Allen and goes to work on Jeff Bright.
Lap 10: Dodd forced wide, Allen back to 3rd!
Lap 11: Big run for Scott Roush for 3rd as Bright takes the lead!
Lap 12: Not so fast! Roush and Bronchitis Moss both quickly bypass Bright.
Lap 14: Caution:Aidan Shepherd came up into Ricard Kruger forcing him into Joki Lethinen. Near miss by Fitzwater and Icks.
Lap 14: Never mind: Icks has a buckle on the hood of the 60.

Lap 17: Restart!
Lap 19: Immediate moves by Roman Rehall to go 3 wide for 5th.
Lap 20: Jarvi Lethinen is mysteriously out of the race.
Lap 21: Rehall up to 4th. Now to 3rd. Man he is flying!
Lap 23: Rehall by Bronchitis Moss to 2nd and working to catch Scott Roush.
Lap 27: Photo finish to this amazing race at Homestead! The winner was Scott Roush by inches!
