Glad people are liking this. May the best man, or woman get the ride!
Pericles told me he'd probably have the race simulated by tomorrow, so if all goes right, tomorrow the driver of the #41 BFM Lexus will be announced Wink

OOC: Unfortunately, I couldn't record all of it as I had some issues to deal with. But I did capture the final few Laps.

In Character:
The ESPN Coverage crew did get there a bit late, Since it was in Canada. There also was a bit of trouble crossing the border from the U.S.

Race Day
1. A. Nikula 117.635mph
2. X. De Urie -0.725
3. I. Gonzalez -2.311
4. R. Fletcher -5.195
5. C. Towers -6.818
6. T. Hiramo -7.557
7. K. Ziemet -8.147
8. A. Kearney -9.115
9. R. Kruger -10.709
10. J. Hyatt -11.191

Freeman: This has been a great week. All the drivers have learnt so much about the sport and themselves. It all led up to a great race at the end, where Nikula dominated with De Urie on his tail the whole time. It was great to have you all come out for this and maybe we'll see some of you back here next time. I hope everybody uses the experience they've gained here to become better drivers and hopefully future champions.

Pericles: I will say this, Gonzalez turned on the Turbo in those last few Laps. Before ESPN Got there, he was about 4 Seconds off. By the time ESPN Finally got set up and at the track. He cut it to around 2.5 Seconds. This kid is a Great driver, and honestly one of my top picks.

Nikula: Damn, zis was one hell of program. I learnt so much and I've met so many amazing young guns, veterans, and people altogezer. I tink ze program has made me x10 the driver I was beforehand. I was also impressed by Xavier De Urie and Ike Gonzalez. Xavier stuck wit me ze whole race and Ike gained on us as ze laps were winding down. I see a future in bos of zem.

Dan Tellich (ARCSOA Reporter for OLINA Sports): Hearing possibilities that after his racing retirement. Kenny Myatt will shift alliances from PETRONAS Honda to BFM. Word is he may become the lead driving coach for Xavier De Urie. No confirmation from either source though.

Post by MrKyleCollins on October 4th 2016, 5:08 pm

I just cleared the list for drivers in the camp. I'll be honest, this was really enjoyable for me to do. Sure half of them were my drivers but I'm sure next time I do this there'll be less of my drivers. Like maybe one or two at the max and none would go to become full time drivers.

When the next time I'll do this will be you may ask? No idea. It depends really. Maybe if someone needs a good rookie for their team in the future I'll hold a camp so they can get their driver from here. We'll see. Thanks for the support on this and thanks to Pericles for recording the video for this Wink

BFM Developmental Drivers Camp - Page 3 Empty Re: BFM Developmental Drivers Camp

Post by MrKyleCollins on October 16th 2016, 5:43 pm

I'm officially accepting drivers into the BFM developmental camp. I don't know when it'll be, but just for when that time comes I'll already have people ready to go with.

So please sign your drivers up! If your driver didn't get a developmental contract from the first developmental camp (all except Arttu Nikula, Xavier De Urie, Ike Gonzalez, Renee Fletcher) and doesn't have a FT or PT ride in the AES then they can attend the camp once again.

Thanks for the interest the first time around and I hope to see some interesting drivers dip in for the second one.

This year I'll only have two of my drivers. I won't give either an AES contract as of right now, the most will be a Lights contract.

Hey Collins, when are you planning on starting this again? It should take me no more than 2-3 weeks to get done my "Camp", that way yours and mine don't "interfere". Smile

It honestly depends for mine. Probably not for a while tho so you don't need to worry about any interfering.

If anybody wants to get a new driver into the AES I recommend this as a good tactic to doing so because if you do perform well it could make your career. Look at De Urie, he currently has Kenny Myatt most likely being his lead driving coach. That's the biggest story from camp.

Look at Joki Lethinen! He gets third in his second start and now look at him, his 4th start EVER will be with a B-Class team in Cathenix!
