Griffin: "Hard to complain with where we ran. Would've been cool to get the pole for my first start, but 2nd is still good. We're locked in and starting along side a teammate."

Finguy: "We were defiantly better than we were last season. Both cars. I'm more worried of Shelly. He's got nothing to fall back on. It's do or die for him. And I guess me..."

Pericles: " Not as fast as I expected us to run, we were more than a second off from the Pole times. Of course, I didn't expect to be up that high but a little quicker and we could have had some bragging rights to not count us out. This team is still developing and this process will be slow for sure."

Nice work by the team so far. Looks like me and the #17 team has some things left to figure out, but we'll all be up there soon enough and challenge for the win. Pretty calm racing out there all speedweeks, but us and the fans still have to brace for the big one when it happens.

Wait up, didn't you compete way back in season 7 for a few races in the #99 Korodovos car?day500champ1 wrote:Griffin: "Hard to complain with where we ran. Would've been cool to get the pole for my first start, but 2nd is still good. We're locked in and starting along side a teammate."

If so, it'd be news to me, lol. I've never been a SCS until the Daytona Duels this season.

Re: 2017 Daytona 500
Yep, there was another Ryan Griffin that ran a few races back in season 7. He started out at Dover. I believe he was one of Kenny's drivers.day500champ1 wrote:JJRacer89 wrote:Wait up, didn't you compete way back in season 7 for a few races in the #99 Korodovos car?day500champ1 wrote:Griffin: "Hard to complain with where we ran. Well, I can say I wasn't aware of it, but I think if it was Kenny he could've used my driver's name. Not that there is a problem with it, lol.

Sean: That one was on me, I thought I was clear there. It kind of is idiotic that I always call out everyone else for being an idiot, and I was the biggest one in that race. Sorry Blue Flare, I'll get them in the coming weeks!

Kurtis: "Talk about disappointment, had a solid car today, but I don't know what the crew chief was thinking, we could've won the damn thing! Alas, we got tons of races till a champion is decided, it's only the first race."
Re: 2017 Daytona 500
Almost had it again. Feeling those same feelings from the 500 two years ago. It all came down to who had the help coming out of turn 4, and he had a better run than I did to the checkered flag.
On the bright side, my team gave me a fast car for race day. Thanks to them for letting me get in a position to fight for the win. Coming up from 35th to 2nd isn't bad at all.

Bishop Jr: Nobody expected ARC to qualify and we didn't. But we tried our best and that's all that matters. Hopefully we'll do better in upcoming weeks, and I'll use this cup experience for my HNS ride.
