The ALS will expand the cap to 42 cars and will shrink the team size down to 3 cars a team, this comes after Pushanda's announcement of the 42 car Orion Elite Series cap. It will allow some teams to bleed over from the OES, who are ready for OES. So current teams in the Lights need to release 1 driver from their team in order to keep competing. However there will most definitely be new teams.
