Haddix shocks the world with Road America Pole
Beka Haddix in the past has been said to be a future star in the motorsports world. However, no one expected her to qualify on pole with her Mentervini at a non-superspeedway. Road America has always had a knack for providing strange qualifying orders. On numerous occasions, heavy rain has determined the order. However, Haddix got the pole on outright pace.
Haddix's speed however did not translate to her teammate. Zaedin Davidson had a radically different setup than Haddix. That set up did not work. Mentervini is working tirelessly to convert Davidson's car to Haddix's setup. William Brock was the only car to start behind Davidson, and that is because he wrecked the 14 car in Canada corner in qualifying.

Arndt: Plan is to go practice, qualify, and race. I'm sick of all of the bad luck and it's pissing me off. Need stuff to change ASAP.
Davis: Our hope is that we can turn things around. Hopefully we can score valuable points.

Kenny: Just did another ARCSOA behind the scenes story about my life.
Kenny: That one made me realize how much I love my wife. I know we really rushed into marriage. But I couldn't let her lose the best chance to better her medical career. But I also knew I couldn't lose her.
Maddie: Don't worry everyone, mom will be back in charge of the Carlisle Safety Team for the American 700.
Sean: Yeah, I have to baby sit Ian and Aubrey during the American 700...
Maddie: I had to babysit for Ian while you and dad went on that little golf outing, and while mom had the medical conference back home in Amaria.

Re: Round 10 of Wisconsin @ Road America
Mid-season silly season set to heat up after American 700
The mid-season is approaching for the ARCSOA Elite Series, and that means mid-season driver change could be on the horizon.
The first example is a worsening relationship between Scott Roush and Greg Caraway. Caraway is reportedly not too keen on his lead driver, citing that Francois Dominier was the person that picked Roush to fill the lead car position. Roush is also upset about the reliability of the Mercedes car. Roush could end up leaving the team before the Round of New Jersey. The only question is, who will attempt to pick him up.
The second instance of a mid-season silly season shakeup revolves around Team Flame. Team Flame reportedly has not been getting that much assistance from BMW their manufacture through the season. Hence why their results have been so disastrous this season. Due to this lack of funding, there is question as to if whether or not Tylor Thaber can be afforded. Keep in mind, he does bring in Icelandic Air. However, he is a driver with a salary. Estavas Cortez was basically brought in to bankroll the team. However, it isn't enough. BMW however immensely cares about the American 700, so I would not be suprised for BMW to actually bring updates to next weeks 12th running of that race.
The third revolves around Charles Sandfer and Cole Baker. Sandfer and Baker both have reportedly been in fights with series management. Both of which need their ARCSOA license renewed. Baker is on a provisional license, that is set to expire after the Round of Ohio. No clue on whether Baker is going to go through with renewing it. Sandfer's ARCSOA license as well is approaching the final stages. Although his is set to expire after Round 14. If neither driver gets their license renewed, ARCSOA will suspend them for the remainder of the year. Which in fact will force KR Subaru and CJ Racing to find a new driver for their rides.
(OOC: If they comment on this thread, they are fine)
The final issue surrounds the two backmarker teams of Mentervini and Action Terra. Both of which have very minimalistic sponsorship, and drivers that deserve better rides. Beka Haddix has recently scored pole in the Round of Wisconsin. Grayson Acevedo has been very strong this season, Davidson and Demax look like strong candidates to improve their rides in Season 24 as well. However, Action Terra and Mentervini, need money. None of these drivers are bringing in enough money to sustain a team. Both teams are apperently looking for pay drivers. Even to the point where Mentervini was willing to do anything to steal Estavas Cortez from Team Flame. This will be interesting, because I think Acevedo and Haddix may end up grabbing better rides in the future.

Jobe: We need help from BMW and let me tell you, if we don't get the help we need well I am perfectly fine with moving to Alfa Romeo. I used to drive for them in an Italian series so we have connections

F&S Marlone Representative: Right now, Vance Caldwell is in need of sponsorship. Otherwise, he may be around with the team for very long. If interested, call 1-800-MARLONE.

Re: Round 10 of Wisconsin @ Road America
Noah Hart: I'm not sure what to expect, especially after the run we had at Canada and New Mexico... Hopefully we can come away with a solid top 10 finish. Myatt and his group on the team have momentum on their side and we're really pushing that team to try and get them a championship but don't count my 18 crew out, we may still have something. Just have to find consistency on tracks I don't usually fair too well at.
Re: Round 10 of Wisconsin @ Road America
Roush after the race got into an interview with an OLINA pit reporter
- Interview:
- OLINA Reporter: Roush, why didn't you back out of it when you were merging onto the track?
Roush: I thought Pericles knew I was there. You were watching. He [bleep]ing spun himself.
OLINA Reporter: What do you think about getting a strike?
Roush: I think that these dumb[bleep]es of officials don't know how to call a race. At least in PWCOM they have officials who make good calls. I am furious at Williams and I would punch him if I could. I hope these [bleep] [bleep] officials burn in [bleep]ing [bleep] after they get [bleep]ing lynched. Nothing is going right at the [bleep]ing race shop either. I may as well [bleep]ing retire.

18th, led some laps but fell off as the race went on.
Prognates-Anderson: "Just one week before the A700, I'm prepared and ready, brought the old Season 22 Haddix equipment back to OdePyS so maybe me or the Yug can have a good run in the 700."
Haddix: "Estavas Cortez? Not anybody I've really heard of. Thankfully still at Mentirvini for at least the A700, thanks for that."

Re: Round 10 of Wisconsin @ Road America
Arndt: I'm pissed. I'm annoyed. This is (beep)-ini annoying. Nothing ever goes right and I'm sick of it. Nothing is wrong at FPM, it's just everything else. I can never showcase my talent if bad luck hits us every race. I'm supposed to be some of the young talent, but I can never show it. I can never get excited to get behind the wheel anymore. I always go into these races expecting something to go wrong. I'm just sick of it. Look at the points. Jake is leading them while we're down in (beep)-king 27th. I know that FPM isn't the problem, but it's something else.
I need something to change. New scenery. Just something. It's not much longer before I go mad.
Davis: Not a day we were looking for. We'll go into the A700 with high hopes.
- Congrats!:
- But I do have to say, congrats, Chris. You've deserved it. Even better you did it before Maddie.

Re: Round 10 of Wisconsin @ Road America
Noah Hart: Super disappointed about not having enough fuel to make it to the end. Should of ran one more lap before pitting last stop. We are fast each week. Really wanted that win again. We'll be giving it all we have for the American 700. I've never won there and would love to mark my name as a winner of that race.
