Casey Lester and Garrett Sydnor attempting their first Cup race

The Hardee's National Series is looked at as the stepping stone series to the Cup level with many drivers looking to make their big break in the series and eventually rise to the big stage that is the Sony Cup Series.


Point Leader in the Hardee's National Series, Garrett Sydnor has the opportunity to race for Blue Flare Motorsports in a one off at the Indy 250 for the special race. Casey Lester and HNS team, Ike Durbin Inc. are looking to make their first Cup start together for the big race with some help from HorizonGroup in trying to make the race. Both drivers in the National level have had solid runs this year and are looking to break through into the Cup Series with their first start in one off entries this weekend.
