YAMP Motorsports has recently announced that Luke Martin's son, TJ Martin, will be piloting the #22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang for the remainder of the 2017 HNS Season. With his entry, this will increase the field to 43 cars, as it will lead to one car having to DNQ for an event. For underfunded teams, it's a nightmare to see another entry. As for the determination of how knockout qualifying will occur, it is being determined at the moment. Expect Martin to receive a full time ride for 2018 to gain more experience on the racetrack as one of the major steps into eventual Sony Cup stardom.
