Re: Round 15: The Indianapolis 250
Hot weather could lead to mechanical problems during race
Racing in Indianapolis during Indian summer has led to one of the hottest races on record. The high temperature for this race is expected to be around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This high temp is expected to lead to numerous mechanical problems throughout the day.

Arndt: If only our pit strategy worked out better, we could've won.
Re: Round 15: The Indianapolis 250
Dodd, 24th: "Bleh, the race started out pretty decently, but just got wrecked when somebody didn't slow down in time. There were way too many mechanical problems in this race, which is just ridiculous for a series like this. There needs to be some limits put in place cause either these teams are pushing these cars way too hard, or the engine package is messed up. One way or another, it needs to be fixed."

Re: Round 15: The Indianapolis 250
Freeze: To be running 3rd at one point in the Indy 250 is incredible. First top 10 of the year at a place that’s so historic. Crew was awesome car was great on short runs, long runs were shaky, but proud of the 05 guys. Monaco could have been up there with strategy that was sad, but to be honest I was proud when he got his top 10s so I think our driver to driver relationship is strong. Thanks To Mr. David For the car as always and the opportunity.

Griffin "livid" with Jones following early race crash; Has heated exchange post race
Racing fortunate can change faster than you can blink at times. Just ask Ryan Griffin. The former AES champion entered the Indy 250 with high hopes and optimism having finished runner up in the 700 earlier this season. And early in the Indy 250 that appeared to be the case.
On lap 18, Bobby Jones slid into the #95 turning Griffin into the inside wall between turns 3 and 4. After taking a hard hit on the inside wall, the car rebounded back on the track collecting two others.
Griffin did exit the car under his own power and was later medically cleared of any issues. However before climbing aboard the track ambulance, Griffin waited for the field to pass by under yellow and proceeded to "applaud" to Jones as he passed by.
After leaving the track's infield care center, Griffin left little to the imagination on his thoughts about happened.
Griffin was seen approaching Jones after the event though what was said or what all occurred has yet to be reported. This is not the first time Griffin has flashed his temper. His most noble incident was when he all but threw AES official Todd Haley under the bus after the Cleveland race in season 21.
A response from Griffin or Jones has yet to come about.

- *Language*:
(Reporter): "What happened Ryan?"
Griffin: "The God Damn #3 driver ran out of fuckin' talent. 18 God damn laps into a 100 lap event and he fuckin' cleans us out. I know one thing, he's not going to leave this track without hearing a piece of my mind."
