Re: American 700 XIII
American 700 start time pushed up to Noon, officials doubtful that the race will see the full 700 miles
The weather for tomorrow is progressively looking worse with each passing hour. The American 700 has never once been shortened for any reason in seasons past. However, as it looks right now, we may be heading for a sort of dubious history coming up.
The following is a statement from ARCSOA competition director William Williams
The weather for tomorrow is progressively looking worse with each passing hour. The American 700 has never once been shortened for any reason in seasons past. However, as it looks right now, we may be heading for a sort of dubious history coming up.
The following is a statement from ARCSOA competition director William Williams
Press statement from William Williams wrote:
"We are currently monitoring the weather situation as this storm system moves in off the Pacific. We've already been halted by dust storms, and a rather serious ARCSOA Lights wreck caused final practice to be cancelled while we repaired the SAFER barriers in turn 3. We are in a box tomorrow in order to attempt to get the race in. The weather the next couple of days doesn't look much better either. We will try everything in our power to get a full 700 mile race in. But the way the weather is shaking up, I am beginning to doubt we will.
Our rules are simple, we have to make lap 175 in order to finish the race. So we have to make it 350 miles before we can call the race. Our staff meteorologists believe that we can get the race to 175 in small bursts in between showers. The worst thing that can happen is that the rain gets here in one large clump, because then we will be forced to play around tomorrow.
ARCSOA rain race rules will be applied. If a weather affected red flag comes out, all cars more than 2 laps down will be dropped out of the race. All cars 2 laps down or less, will get their laps back.
I as much as all the fans and drivers would like to see a full 700 mile race run tomorrow. However, I am doubting we will. Right now, I'm thinking we might be lucky if the race is even the longest race of the season. If we can go longer than 400 miles, I will be shocked. If we get a full 700 mile race in, even in clumps, it will be the biggest miracle in ARCSOA history."

Brock: "Pretty excited to be on front row for the A700; gonna try and get that Shell Benz in Victory Lane."
Baranauskas: "Such a shame that I didn't make the American 700, nor win the McBaxter's 100, but I would love to thank PryTech so much for giving me this opportunity, and I hope to have another championship season in PWCOM."

Dodd: "Welp, this is what happens when you move the date of the biggest race of the season, guess we'll just have to deal with it and hopefully not crash before the end of the race, whenever that might be."

Re: American 700 XIII
Noah Hart: This season hasn't gone the way we would have liked. We have worked hard on these cars to be fast here and we are at the bottom of the board in practice. I'm beyond disappointed. Competition has stepped up which means we have to as well. We have been working overtime every day it seems. We have our work cut out for us because there's not a whole lot at the track that you can do to make up that kind of speed that we are lacking. A lot of strategy in this race is going to need to play out for us to be much a factor after running around 40th in practice.

*Morning of the American 700*
Kenny: There is no way in hell we are making it to lap 175 before that massive green glob hits. I say lap 100, maximum.

- Spoiler:
Kenny: Called that... It's nice to know that my car isn't as crappy as I thought it would be. Kind of surprised by how calm everyone was. I have a feeling the intensity is going to ramp up as we get closer to halfway. Especially with showers in the area.
Maddie: I think we have one of the best cars on the track at this stage. We are really fast out there.

Consolation Race:
Whetteneaux: "How stupid is that. I had a much faster consolation race car that could have easily have qualified for the A700. What bull."
Post Race Pt 2:
Hallec: "Aye lads, I was havin' a great day and me car lost a tyre. Ah, what a shame. Pit strategy was moving me up long ways."
Hallec: "The rain hit when I be two laps down and in fortieth place....ahm, at least I be still in it, lads!"
Hallec: "Mighty proud of me teammate Fitzwater for coming home thirteenth after the rain hit....let us hope that this next segment will be clean and clear."

Re: American 700 XIII
Kenny: Never seen this before. Typically during rain delays, the ARCSOA paddock typically goes into full on "shenanigan mode." Which, I think is beyond hilarious. Now everyone is going into team strategy briefings for the remainder of the red flag.
Kenny: Rain delays were the one thing that reminded me of the old days of ARCSOA.
Kenny: How boring a strategy briefing must be. I miss the days of the pranks and hilarity. I remember when Noah tied a Porta-Potty to the back of D.J. Kurtis' trailer back in maybe Season 15. It's that kind of stuff I wish ARCSOA would go back to. But the series has grown so cooperate and serious, that we aren't doing that kind of stuff anymore.

- Roush After Incident:
- Roush: I am [Expletive] glad he is retiring, can't even see when a car has pulled out of pit road. I think I am going to have a word with Perkins during this rain delay. I guess karma served him right.

Alex: 14th "A decent little run before the rain for us, the car was alright, but during this red flag, we're gonna see if we can improve it more, we know the dominant cars, we just need to get to their level."
Vincent: 27th "Great timing on the yellow, had a flat tire and while the stop was going on, the rain came. Car was very good to start the race. We just need a little more speed and help on pit strategy and we'll be good."

Freeze: Glad the whole team got through segment one. Yohann Monaco were holding the fort early and Rehall has been great. I’ll take the 30th to 9th as we move towards halfway.

- Roush Radio Comms:
- Roush: [Expletive Expletive]! I LOST A [Expletive] TIRE! THIS DAY JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!
Spotter: Don't destroy the car bud, Perkins already did that once for us.
Roush: THIS IS WHY HE SHOULD NEVER HAVE [Expletive] TAKEN THE GOD [Expletive] GREEN FLAG! HE DESTROYED MY RACE! I REGRET NOT PUNCHING HIM NOW! I WOULDN'T BE IN THIS [Expletive] SITUATION IF IT WEREN'T FOR HIM!
Spotter: Chill out bud! there's still a long way to go.
Roush: [Expletive Expletive Expletive Expletive]
During the rain delay, Roush would Duck Tape a thing on the back of Myatt's RV.

Alex: 12th "Man, that kinda sucked, sorry to Bobby for causing that wreck, just got really over eager, and sorry to Noah on the pit stop stuff, but hey that is just racing, tried a new pit strategy and it didn't really get us anywhere. We just have to try everything we can to get up there."
Vincent: 32nd" Holy shit that was too close! sad that we lost the cylinder, car was solid all weekend. We may have to just ride out the rest of the race, hope for some wrecks to gain positions, because I have no ides how much we can fix this car."

Sean: Tell that little (expletive) in the #25 that he is the biggest pile of (expletive) in the entire field. No wonder why that clown hasn't won a race in this series before. The guy brake checked me on pit road.

Roush would then get the news from Perkins after pulling the prank on Myatt.
Roush: BRAKE CHECK MY [expletive], HE SPED UP! THE [expletive] CLOWN DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO HOLD A CONSISTENT SPEED!

Rehall: " I can't believe this idiot [Kenny Myatt] tried to split in between pitting cars. Back out of the throttle you f*cking dolt. I had a great race going and I Possibly could have competed for the win. Then your blind a** just drove right into me! What kind of Sh*t is that? They should call you the Buckeye Bulldozer You prick!"

Re: American 700 XIII
Kenny: What kind of idiot decides it's a great idea to pit from the top line of the track? He's a freaking moron for believing that this is my fault. This guy is a lunatic for thinking that, that specific move will work. Sucks for Phadkar. But Etisham fell out because of the stupidity of one Ohioan. That Ohioan, is not me. Grow up you uncultured swine.

Rehall: I clearly was signaling I was pitting. I literally saw you divebomb into the corner while I was moving down but it was already too late. I really hope Maddie doesn't get her driving from you because if she did... all of ARCSOA is going to have to be careful.

Williams awards a strike to Rehall
After a rather controversial incident takes place on the track, ARCSOA chief steward William Williams has made a statement on the incident.
This move however is controversial. Apparently, Kenny Myatt and Jacob Hart marched over to the stewards stand and started complaining about that move by Rehall. Apparently, the stewards sided with Myatt.

William William's Statement wrote:"We personally feel that Roman made a poor decision as to deciding to pit from the top line of the track. Under those circumstances, he should have driven around and pitted the next lap. Or, slotted in behind the #9."
