Round 9, American 700 IX (Ride Buying season has Ended)
OOC: Michigan will be up shortly...
One Off Testing shows that TRD Scandinavia at the top of the charts
After a 90 minute opening practice session consisting of only the one off cars. The fastest cars were collectively the TRD Scandanavia drivers. Toyota tends to bring one off teams to the American 700 every year. This year, the all Scandinavian Team has a lot of trick parts on the car. Team Principle, Marcus Shoenenin stated, "We were asked by Toyota to test a bunch of new parts. They seem to be working as we are the top of the charts. P1, P3, and P4 is very strong."
The car in 2nd Position was the KIR 3rd car of Zachary Fitzwater. Fitzy, has had some off time, now as a one-off driver he looks quick with the 3rd KIR car. Will Lewis also cracked the Top 5.
Qualifying rain affected, Perfect weather for race
After a rain affected American 700 last season, the weather for the "Crucible of Motorsport" looks pretty nice this year. Qualifying however may have to be restructured due to weather. "Our initial plan of this radical qualifying where only the top 10 get in the race through a session, and then allowing the field to figure itself out the rest of the way through qualifying races, doesn't seem very likely at this stage," ARCSOA CEO Kayla Tonney stated. "Our backup plan is to do the three sessions and then skip the qualifying races and just take the top 42 times. It is all weather dependent." The 9th running of the "Crucible of Motorsport" is set to be the coolest on record. The high temperature for independence day night is only supposed to be around 85 degrees.

Griffin to formally start sign ups for AES drivers union during American 700 weekend
A couple of weeks ago, former season 11 AES champion, Ryan Griffin, stated that he would be for a drivers union in the AES should one develop.
Now, according to a source close to the Michigan native AES driver has come forth to say that said drivers union would come to be during the weekend of the American 700.
Well, no formal announcement from Griffin has yet occurred, it is believe that a formal announcement is expected.

Dodd: "Well, here is my shot at doing the impossible and winning it all, but we won't get too confident, the first step is to get this #80 Action Terra car into the show. Good sucsess to a couple of other drivers as well, including my right hand man Tommy Turbo, and those 2 McGee's that somehow aren't related!

First Practice, one off cars not doing well
After the first practice session it is becoming clear that the one off cars are not doing well in qualifying setups. Full time cars nearly swept the top 10 with the only exceptions to that being Fitzwater and Lewis scoring inside the top ten. The three TRD Scandanavia cars also finished near the top ten!

Dalehardt?
Wonder where that came from (lol). Definitely not taking the Earnhardt's last name and their first names (Dale) and mashing them together
Glad Freeman made the top 10, the veteran might be able to get the A700 win. Might.

Kenny: POLE!!!! YES!!!!! Maybe the 9th running of the "Crucible of Motorsports" will end with Car #9 in victory lane!
Tonney: Amazingly, all sessions will have exactly 32 cars in each round as both Gluba and Kennedy were in session #2. Top ten in each qualifying race will be entered into the American 700!
