One of the major results of a late season schedule change was Sonoma replacing Black Hills as the finale track. This coming after the NMGAR imposed a ban on Black Hills due to the nature of last year's finals as a wreckfest. After all, the champion was just the person who survived the longest, Roman Rehall. The series has ran multiple races at Sonoma in the past, and the last two have been won by Deb Bruneil. If she can make it to the final 4 she'll be the odds-on favorite to win the title.

Also some silly season news to pass along. So far the only confirmed change. Backup Squad Racing is unhappy with the performance of car 41, Rajesh Unpenkalen. They have opted to replace this one hit wonder with someone who has a lot of prior experience: Antevia Kingrey Sr. Antevia ran in Seasons 2, 5, and 6 with only one win and a lot of hard wrecks to show, but Backup Squad hopes to rejuvenate Andy's career in SX with a shot at full time racing once again.
