Unexpected result as Rey wins Practice!

As practice finishes up in Australia, Roger Rey surprises everyone by winning practice by a good amount, he is a huge threat going into qualifying!

Top 5 breakdown:

1st: Roger Rey
Roger Rey had speed from the start, being top 10 for a while before he surged to the top, and once he got up there he never looked back. This is the strongest we've seen Seibasport this season, could they be turning it around?

2nd: Sean Angel
Angel was also someone not many people saw at the top as he was not very fast at the start of the session, but as time went on, Angel got faster and faster, and has become 2nd fastest today as we go into Qualifying!

3rd: Paul Jackson
Now onto a name we all know. Paul Jackson was consistent all day long, and showed speed through it all, having 2nd for a while before Angel took it from him. The man in 3rd place in points gets 3rd in practice, and Rowe should be worried.

4th: Benoit Lothaire-Irvine
Trailblazer makes its second appearance on this list as team leader and owner Benoit Lothaire-Irvine takes 4th place on the list. Benoit and Angel drafted all day around the track, and when they put their heads together, they are crazy fast. Watch for these 2 in the race if they meet up.

5th: Cordell Paulson
Rowe has more to worry about than just Jackson, as Paulson takes 5th place on the list. Paulson was another late bloomer like Angel, but when his team got the setup right, he was blazing fast! If he keeps this up, maybe he could take the points lead!

Honorable Mentions:

Alexander Rowe:
Held 0 speed at the beginning, but they started to get his setup right near the end. He could speed up in qualifying once they get that setup perfect.

Jeffery Finguy:
He was on and off all day, slow at the start, fast near the middle, slow near the end, and fast right at the end, Finguy has been all over the place, but has shown he has the speed to get it done!

Julio Cesar:
We had to mention him, he showed a lot of speed, but just couldnt crack the top 5, and would stick around the bottom of the top 10 all day long, and could be a threat for the third week in a row!

"53 team definitely on par in qualifying, cars 64 and 79 need a lot of work. Maybe Chase can grab a really good finish for us here, a top 10 or a team high top 5, this is our best qualifying run by far."

Jack Hallec: "Aye, fif'tenth aint ta shabby in me 'onest opinion, mates. It be not me best result in qualification ever, but it be quite awesome fer a speedway. I 'ope ta do me fans an' me team proud. Stay safe out t'ere, every person."

<After the race>
Jack Hallec: "Ah, an' thus ends me fer' in a ro' top ten streak. I be havin' a strong car all t'e day long, but a shaky pit stop an' me growin' more an' more weary as t'e race went on sought to destroy t'e chance fer a fif't top ten. Ah well, I certainly shan't complain about a sixteenth place finish, lads. Still a pretty good result if I be sayin' me t'oughts."

Jack Hallec: "Tis a testament ta how fast Maverick GP is. I am t'e weakest link ser far in this season for t'e team in eigh't in points, with me a team mate in t'e lead an' one in t'ird. It be 'ard fer me to catch up to them, but I shall try me best to...well, best me competit'ers. G'luck to all the lads and lass 'ere as I be comin' fer ya!"

Dack Jovic: "Yet again, ah return t'e a track ah am not fond o' as mah skill set is more directed at th' road courses. However, this pure tough machinery ah have bin delegated tae pilot, an' ah shall pilot tae anither tap ten. Ye kin may want te "hold mah beer."

<After race>
Dack Jovic: "Ah tellt ye mah heavy 'n would be held. Ah tellt exactly as ah wished ta have done. Ah sought 'n' fought thro' th' field 'n' managed te claim fur maself mah third tap ten in a ro', therein bein' a ninth. Ah will keep this speed up. Juist watch me, please."

<After being relegated into ninth place>
Dack Jovic: "Woo! ah tellt ye ah was not in poor skill. Ah did, ah did. Ah felt a gut intent that something was amiss, but ah neglected tae let that feeling be kent (known), 'n' noo tae hae it kent feels marvelous as it hast worked in mah favour. Tae goe aff o' a tap ten yet again, te a heavy jump in points made me smile, which is a seendle (rare) occurance in mah forthright opinion. Cheers fur they, 'n' nae in pairt, but whole, Scott Roush fur putting yer faith in me 'n' letting me become kent in this series. T'ank yey much. Ah will keep this up."
