UER to obtain Rodriguez Racing Ford assets for 2019

With Rodriguez Racing going to Toyota in 2019, United Emirates Racing has obtained their Ford assets for the 2019 season. It is not confirmed whether they will go to a 3rd car or not, or just remain as two. UER had bought the Martin Motorsports assets in the Cup side, and now has bought the Rodriguez Racing assets. This could be fundamental in their development of being a solid team in 2019.

YAMP potentially shutting down?

It is rumored that YAMP will be shutting down at the end of the 2018 season on the Sony Cup side, leaving the potential idea of fielding a HNS team a mystery.

Redline to Dodge for 2019

Redline Motorsports will be switching to Dodge for 2019, the team has struggled to showcase some results, and switching to a different manufacturer makes them believe that they could find much bigger success and potentially more speed.

Blaze McKinney to return to Fisher for 2019

Blaze McKinney has been confirmed to pilot the #12 for Fisher Motorsports next season in the Hardee's National Series. After what has been a rather up and down season so far, the youngster currently sits in the top 20 in the points standings, and he's looking forward for a late season charge to potentially get to the top 10 in the points. Toyota is looking forward to gaining some momentum with Rodriguez Racing going to Toyota, as they could be fundamental in the development of the Toyota Camry to a much further level.

Red Stallion degrading to 2 cars

Red Stallion Racing has been struggling the past couple of races, and with competition getting more fierce, Mike Mart has announced that they will dropping to two cars at the conclusion of 2018. Currently they field Bradley Bishop Jr, Elisheva Stolarz, Jonathan Wong, and Samet Ozkan. They started strong, but they have been lacking in speed, and the belief of having to focus primarily on two cars could be the recipe for success and more speed.

Cory Williams to return to Kurtis Racing, West potentially out of KR after 2018?

Joseph Kurtis has recently announced that Cory Williams will return to the #14 for 2019. The Southerner currently is in the top 10 in the points standings. He obtained his first win in the series at Las Vegas. 5 Hour Energy will return, as well as Mobil 1, Office Depot is also returning, but it is rumored to be a mere associate sponsor.

It is not confirmed if Jake West will return to the team, rumors have that he and his crew haven't been cooperating as much as anticipated, though they are contending for the championship. However, Boost Mobile and KCMG will return to the #4 for 2019. Perky Jerky will be an associate sponsor, or even be a one off sponsor.

JJ Roberts to seek a full time ride for 2019

JJ Roberts, a newcomer to the series, is also looking to join the series with high hopes. Being recommended by John Arndt after being seen doing stellar in late models, Roberts is looking to impress others if he gets the ability to step into a HNS car.

A recent team for the HNS has risen as well, it is Steven Carmona Racing, with owner Steven Carmona piloting the #54 Chevy Camaro for the 2019 season. A Foreign-Based team joins the field for the 2019 Hardee's National Series Season

More silly season news has popped up when a Brazilian team has been announced to join the 2019 grid, which has led to many Brazilians in wanting to see how the team is going to perform. A team built off a large auto part company in Rio De Janeiro owned by Luiz Sousa Cardoso, and Murilos love for racing, though he will not be racing he will be on the box cheering his team on! They will be fielding the #20 Dodge for the 2019 season. We may expect to see the viewership for the series even grow, as many Brazilians are helping to bring funds to the team in finding big sponsors for that car. Rumors have it said that they will also join an alliance with Fearsport, similar to that of Trailblazer.

Rumors of New Team Owner Gaining Interest, ditech Leaving Benyacko After 2019?

The 2019 Silly Season for both the SCS and HNS has been extremely hectic so far, and more news has arisen in the garage that yet another team owner has gained interest in the HNS. James Benyacko, cousin of HNS driver Alex Benyacko, has reportedly gained massive interest in the HNS and is considering fielding an operation for 2020 instead of 2019, mainly due to him wanting to know the ins and outs of the series. Little is known about these current plans. However, what we do know is that it will be a one car in the Dodge camp.

A massive rumor in the #8 camp is that James has been in communication with Alex about a sponsor of his that James would love to have sponsor his car. That sponsor? Ditech. When Alex was asked about it, he shrugged it off, stating: "I'm not worried about it right now. I still have Ditech for a little while yet. I'll worry about it if or when i have to."

James, in a separate statement, said: "I talked with Alex after his Road America victory and i have slowly and slowly gained interest in the HNS. I plan on coming to some races for the remainder of this year and every race of 2019, so i can be fully confident that this investment can be worthwhile.".

Castle Racing under new ownership for 2019

Miraculously, there was no owner (or one that we knew of), that really owned Castle Racing. It was rumored that the knights of Sidonia had taken over management of the team, with Rob Evans behind the wheel of the #51 for 2018. Now, there have disputes in terms of finances, and a new owner has stepped up to the plate of HNS competition. That man is Justin Williamson, the optimistic businessman is looking to try and find the pace necessary in order to be at least in the midfield range of the series. There's gonna be a lot of work to do in order for that team to get much better.

Pen was put to paper earlier this evening as Janeiro Motorsports signed a contract for the driver of the #20 car. They announced that Daniel Bouchard would pilot the TaxAct Dodge #20 car for the 2019 season!

Team Owner Murilo Sousa Cardoso commented saying, "We are very glad to welcome Daniel to the team, and knowing we have a veteran on our team makes us very hopeful for the future of the team as we expect big things out of Daniel this season!"

Fitzwater Australia Racing to 3 cars, Srigley named the driver of the new car

Fitzwater Australia Racing is certainly trying to bring diversity in terms of nationality on the table, and they have just recently announced that they will expand to a 3 car team. Joseph Srigley has also been named as the driver to pilot the newly revealed #37 Toyota for the 2019 season. The Canadian is looking to gain some experience and run the car to the best of his ability. It is rumored that Tim Horton's will sponsor the #37 for the 2019 season, as they currently will be sponsoring the SCS car for 2019.

His willingness to improve the team has touched Fitzwater and he was willing to hire him. Fitzwater Australia Racing is looking to try and be up front, similar to that of the Fisher Motorsports group with Blaze McKinney. There's gonna have to be a lot of work in order for the team to prosper well, especially with 3 cars. Many critics have questioned the sudden increase of cars the team is taking, and is questioning the budget the team has, but it seems that Fitzwater has plenty of sponsors and financial funding according to multiple sources.

Fitzwater Australia Racing announces 3rd and final driver for 2019

Caitlin Murphy has been recently announced to pilot the #59 Pirtek Toyota for Fitzwater Australia Racing. With a lineup mostly consistent of rookies, it'll be interesting to see the progress Fitzwater Australia Racing has in store for the field. The team hasn't been historically fast, but they are willing to take risks in order to become more competitive.
