Round 30 of Chicagoland Empty Round 30 of Chicagoland

Post by FUEL on October 18th 2018, 6:34 pm

Heading back to the sight of some surprising winners in 2017 with Ryan Acosta and Carson Scott outplaying the field due to pit strategy and tire saving in the two races from last year... will we see another surprising winner? Our defending winners from last year at this track have yet to win this season, could they return on top yet again here at Chicagoland?

As for the championship, Jesse Turner is trying to cut off his competition ever so slowly... Caps and Baskinger have fell a drift over 2 races behind now while Mace has cut the point lead to only 63 points. Something serious will need to happen in the closing 7 races for a title to swing out of Turner's grasp.

D. Kurtis: "Pretty disappointed in our Q pace, it's really lacked these past couple of races. Nonetheless, we gotta keep going, hopefully we can bring the CBM cars up to the front."

J. Kurtis: "Our Q pace seems to not be the best, but we just need to keep the cars pretty clean, we got this."

Good run in 34th, didn't lose but one lap and was close to the Rookie points!

D. Kurtis: "So close! But man, what a finish! Glad to see someone obtain their first victory! Harple will get many in the future, the kid's real good and seeing him in a good ride and showcasing that talent is awesome! Good run for our #19, some good late momentum! Looks like we're getting back into a rhythm."

J. Kurtis: "A really rough race for us overall, but Schwal getting us another Rookie point! I'm genuinely surprised that he's achieved this far! Gives us some good data for 2019 as well!"
