Re: 2017 SILLY SEASON
Bradley Bishop Jr looks at HorizonGroup
With his career already taken off at such a young age BBJ doesn't want to make any wrong decisions. He wants to become apart of HorizonGroup if they want to offer him a contract.
If HorizonGroup doesn't work out his backup plan is to try to get on AFRT and if that doesn't work his backup backup plan will be to drop down to the lower tier series.
But the team he has most interest in is HorizonGroup.

Re: 2017 SILLY SEASON
Collins: I will admit, HorizonGroup wouldn't be doing something stupid by picking up Bradley. As we've seen so far he's a consistent driver who does have the capabilities to win. He's also very mature and a contender for ROTY now. Definitely a driver worthy of a spot there if you ask me.

Finguy: "That's a stupid decision by Horizon if they take him in in not a part time ride. Look, I'm not being an ass here, I don't see it happening. He should still be in HNS and a part-time ride here. Don't get my words twisted, don't get triggered like many people are... I'm being brutally honest..."

Re: 2017 SILLY SEASON
AFRT announces plans for 2016.
In a press conference delayed after a month long silence for all of AFRT, Andreas announces the plans for 2017
Andreas: I just want to apologize for our month long silence plans wise, we wanted to get everything in order for next year. I will be returning to the 43 car with Gibson on for another season. Also i would like to announce the hiring of Skye Commons full-time for next season with the 44 team keeping the sponsorship from Hot Wheels. Plus, Ryan will still be in the 45 car with the support of National Guard going full-time for next year.
"Also, my son Vince will move into a co-ownership role in AFRT with me. Vince has said that he wants to still run part-time if any team would take him on. He also our lead stand-in driver if any are needed for next season"

Re: 2017 SILLY SEASON
Collins: I'm not triggered. But I don't understand how that would be stupid. Not everybody needs HNS. He's proven to be one of those people. He's currently a major contender for ROTY and he's been a contender for wins loads of time since he hopped into the #9. Something that I nor Skye Commons really did in that ride. If he wasn't in that shit #3 for the beginning of this season, I'm almost positive he'd be a championship contender. So, I think, and I'm sure others will agree with me, signing a young driver that can win and most likely contend for a championship is a great option.Finnish909 wrote:Finguy: "That's a stupid decision by Horizon if they take him in in not a part time ride. Re: 2017 SILLY SEASON
SUMS oficially hire Hayden Kline for the #14 next season
Sttugart United Motors is happy to have Hayden Kline onboard the number 14. "We had intentions to hire another driver, but Kline sought out us and we were impressed. He was definatly on the list, and we decided to grab him when he asked," Jeremy Stroker (Team Owner) commented early this morning. "We can't wait to see how this season pans out, with FBR backing and an amazing new driver."
SUMS new sponsorship Officially confirmed
Going into the 2017 season, SUMS was in the hunt for a new sponsor. The team had started to make every race thanks to a partnership with FBR and had become more Markatable. SUMS Officially announced today that not only Petronas would be returning as the primary sponsor, but also DHL has joined the 14 as a secondary sponsor. The German mailing company will be sponsoring the 14 for at least 10 races for the 2017 season.

Bishop goes to ARC for 2017
Bradley Bishop Jr, a major ROTY contender, and almost winner a few times so far in 2016 has accepted the contract to the #66 ARC Racing. He will be looking for a HNS ride in 2017 as well. Doing what William Brock did last season.

Re: 2017 SILLY SEASON
Cloud9 Racing is interested in signing on Matt Daleo, David Culpepper, Max Titan, and Caleb Hoffman. Mason Gordon will return to the seat for Cloud9 Racing. Cloud9 Racing plans on running just the #34 for the rest of the season in partial attempts after selling the #26 car to Martin Motorsports in order to get money for the new cars of next year. Mason plans on attempting in the Cloud9 Ford at New York, California, Rockingham, Talladega and the Season Finale.
Mason: I really am only in it for the fun. I show up whenever they wanna come to the track. I have a busy schedule outside of racing I don't really focus on it too much anymore. Still love it no doubt the media and drivers and being in the garage is a lot more chaotic than it use to be. I like having my alone time and even though this team isn't a good quality car, its okay because they are trying to get their foot in the door and its not been an easy road but they need somebody like me to help guide them and I believe we will make a lot more races next year with the new car.

Brock Announced as Horizon Group Racing's Final Driver
After several rumors and links to several drivers were revealed in the Horizon Group Racing corner of the 2017 Sony Cup Silly Season, it appears that the wait is finally over, and it has been announced that William Brock has been announced as the driver of the team's 76 Dodge.
Brock has been running for ARC in the Sony Cup Series, while also racing in the Hardee's National Series. Brock will join the team replacing Jeffery Lynn, who surprised many by moving from HZG to Mace Enterprises for the 2017 season.
Brock may be a nice fit for the team, as his teammates will be Dillon Young and Matthew Rodriguez, veterans in the series who may be able to give him tips and advice. Despite securing a stable seat, no sponsors have been announced for the 76 just yet.

Re: 2017 SILLY SEASON
Cloud9 Racing CEO: We are hiring Mason Gordon to drive the #34 Taco bell Ford and Matt Daleo will drive the #37 Ford.
We need drivers with experience that know what their doing and how to get our cars in the race. We plan on racing more than half the season so in order to please our sponsors and stay in business we need to make the races. Mason and Matt are experienced and have wins in the series so we believe this will do nothing but better us because they know what they are looking for in the car and hopefully we can make races with them.
