Round 17 of British Columbia @ Vancouver Superspeedway
The Final Superspeedway of the season could be huge for Sandfer, Hart, Griffin, and Pericles as top 5 all close in
Canadian International Speedway is a big race for D&C. The team is headquartered just outside of British Columbia. However, this race is even more important to Charles Sandfer. Sandfer at this stage leads the ARCSOA Elite Series championship. However, the top 5 in points are all within striking distance of Sandfer. Vancouver, seems like a track in which Sandfer will perform well on. In fact he needs to. The next few tracks, aren't ones that Sandfer has been particularly strong at.
This race is even more important to Sandfer, as he needs to build up a pretty hefty point lead. If he can do that, he can hold the rest of the contenders over a barrel. Sandfer is the only member of the top 5, and one of only 4 in the top 10, eligible to race in the Round of Michigan.
This race is also huge for Ryan Griffin. Griffin has been on a roll lately, and Vancouver could be another track in which Griffin performs well at. Nick Pericles, who is known for his Superspeedway ability is also looking for a win this weekend. Noah Hart, is in the same boat.
These 4 drivers are the only 4 drivers in the top 10, that are eligible for the Round of Michigan. Sandfer, does have some playing room here. However, one mistake in the rest of the season, and then he will have to rely on Michigan as a make-up. The other 3 drivers need good runs here at Vancouver, and Darlington. This should not be an issue for Noah Hart. Hart I believe has won at both these tracks before. Nick Pericles, should do fine here at Vancouver. He won the Indianapolis 250 a few years back, is always strong in the American 700 and nearly won this years race in Germany. Pericles has a great deal of Superspeedway talent. Griffin has momentum on his side. If he can keep that going. He will do just fine.
These 4 need to capitalize on Vancouver and Darlington, in order to make the most out of Michigan. I suspect they will.

Roush: British Columbia is a track where an underdog, like AT, is expected to do decent

Re: Round 17 of British Columbia @ Vancouver Superspeedway
Van Der Pesch involved in scary wreck, Myatt to fill in
Christian Van Der Pesch's miserable season continues after he took a nasty head on hit into the front stretch wall after contact with Scott Roush and Ryan Matthews. Matthews and Roush would continue on without hitting anything, but Van Der Pesch took a scary head on hit which briefly knocked him out. As per ARCSOA rules, ARCSOA chief physician Dr. Forsythe forbid Van Der Pesch from participating for the rest of the weekend. Ironically, Forsythe's daughter, Madeline Myatt will be filling in for CVDP this weekend. This will be the only time for the foreseeable future that Madeline Myatt will race with her father, Kenny Myatt.

Kenny: A 1.0 Mile Superspeedway isn't what I call a normal track. Going to be a pain to pass on. One mistake and you can lose about 5 spots in one swoop.

OOC: the Old Talladega and Daytona have the stock cars going indy car speeds. Try Talladega 70s or Daytona 70s or Daytona 88. Unrestricted and fast af

Roush goes and gives Vincent Allen "Driving Advice" post race after getting involved in his wreck. Roush says he only said spinning people ain't nice, and if that's how you wanna race, than that's how others will race you.

Griifin: "We did lose a cylinder there. The wreck just finished her off. Sucks, we had a good car that was at least a top 5 car if not a winning car. At least we got some more good tracks for us coming up."

Shepherd: Barely avoiding almost all the wrecks, moderate damage because of others mistakes (what's new), having a good car, I'll take a top 20! Happy we survived through the race. Can't wait for the better equipment.
