Round 34 of Fontana
only 3 races remain, James and Baskinger need to make up points to keep their name in the fight also Mace needs to have a good race and make up points on Turner today to give him a good shot at this championship, its coming down to it! Championship season is here... How will things play out tonight at Fontana?
Re: Round 34 of Fontana
Yes Were back in it BABY!!! What a race and all I needed was sadly my teammate to do bad and that happened. With that, I help him with trying to keep Mace back and it worked in a weird fashion. With that it worked in our favor and we took an advantage. Now we cannot screw up at Talladega which is going to be hard but we are capable to do that and I am excited.

Finguy: "...The fans are saying 'Like what the commentator said, check the car!' ...I have a hunch there is something illegal in that car so... Let's listen to him being a dip*hit today, and see him out of a ride for the rest of the season."

Jordan Davis: I have never heard so many people booing a winner before. Man was that crowd roaring. I felt like I was running Indy all over again accept half the field wasn't wrecked, and instead of Charles dominating with 2 cars behind him it was Sean with one car.

Shultz: "Dammit, sucked to he in the first wreck. Nasty collision, hoping to come back stronger then ever next round."
Johnson: "Hell yea, Treck Tauger! That's the driver I signed, showing up big time today! Blue Flare is not giving up, we are determined to get our first win in our rookie season."

Re: Round 34 of Fontana
Turner: "I thought we'd be alright had the #3 not spun us into the wall on lap one. And then I got spun again and oddly enough hit the #48, so that felt pretty bizarre. But I'm so proud of my crew for not giving up on me, I sure never give up on them. Even though we couldn't finish cause the car was so busted up, it was still a good day for us as a team to learn stuff with each other on getting the car in good shape after a wreck."
Re: Round 34 of Fontana
Sean: Look at them crying at my magnificence. The idiot the #17 was dangerous as hell around me. Those Ford drivers get so pissed off when a non-Ford wins, that they scream that car is illegal. Now you know what we non-Ford drivers have been dealing with all god damn season! Shut up, the lot of you!
Sean: HA! MY CAR PASSED! Suck it Jordan and Jeffery!

OOC: When did you get put in charge of SCS announcements? Last time I checked you weren't in charge of it.
@Finguy I regret some of my team choices.

Re: Round 34 of Fontana
Sony Cup Series Officials Makes A Statement After Fontana...
We made a change with the downforce to the racecars at Fontana, it caused the speeds to pick up a bit and the cars to be less packed but still have some great racing so we are quite happy with how things went down at Fontana racing wise, we feel the fans and the drivers liked the way the race went down.
During the race, we knew this was going to be a big race for our title contenders so we aren't surprised Jesse Turner was out there riding around trying to gain any positions he could like Charles Jackson and Stephen Pollard III having mechanical issues moving Turner up spots, we expected Turner to ride around and try and get those extra spots. We felt his actions with Perkins could have been avoided but after their racing at Willow Springs, I feel everyone expected that but that was okay, but until Turner continued to be more of an issue as the race went on with being way slower we felt after him getting wrecked into title contender Nick Mace we needed to take action by black flagging the #17 and parking him until he fixed his car better and made it faster. He had nothing to lose but we felt he was too slow to be on track.
A lot of people came to us about the #78 car and we had no issues in the tech inspection with the 78 or the other 41 competitors. We think that tires were a big issue with this downforce package as the #78 and #55 were some of the few to pit under caution early and got tires. They ran away from the field until a later caution that involved Nick Mace, and Mace with new tires and damage went from 27th to 11th in just 4 laps compared to everyone else on old tires ran through out the whole race.
