Round 2 of Georgia @ Road Atlanta

Kenny: I am here early! No one else ever thinks of getting to the track on a Tuesday!

Pericles:" No shit, I'm still on the way over there, didn't have time to sleep. I'm going over the game plan as of now."

Rehall:" I have 14 points, yay."

Titan:" Ouch, KIR was better in lights with me."

Lightning": Shut up you Dingleberry."

Griffin: "Wait that was Myatt that pulled in this morning? Good thing I'm a morning person or else I'd be ticked about being woken up. Thought getting here would give a chance to rest after Daytona."

Brock: "I can't tell you how happy I am that we're having the second race of the season at my home track; hope I do better here than the last race."

Kenny: Don't be too happy to be home. Road Atlanta eats rookies for breakfast!

Brock: "Believe me, I've seen what goes on at this track"

Kenny: Just wait... that first lap is the beginning of the most hellish 130 miles of your life! Hell, statistically I am the best driver at this track, and I still get daunted by it!

Brock: "I'll remember that."

Shock Jr: "...Welp. Time to at least survive. The FPM cars look promising this season. Let's hope we get them a win."

Thenos: "I'm not looking to hot with this track. I hope we can get it done."

Johnson: "...Sorry Myatt. Not even you are safe from this beast. Might I point out last year? Or a few years ago?"

No matter how much this track made me frustrated through out the years, I still love it here. This was my first race on tarmack and I had a blast.

Johnny Finguy: "I'm surprised that (Rosalina) Psytomi isn't here this week. She really loves this track for some reason. Maybe she just bailed and is at Port Skyline... Hell sign me up next week."

Shock Jr.: "...Shelly... SHELLY...." *Poke* "SHELLLLLLLLLLLY!!!!!"

C. Sandfer: "Feels good to be here once again if we can survive I will consider that in itself a success this weekend

Brock shocks the paddock with pole position in wet qualifying session. All 4 Georgia natives in top 10!

Road Atlanta was kind to William Brock. The Georgia native scored a shocking first pole at what most drivers call the most difficult track on the schedule. A heavy downpour struck right as qualifying begun and the track was very slick. John Martinage had a very scary wreck in death valley when the car seemingly washed away from him.

However Brock looked like a tested veteran out there. The difficult track coupled with the rain really made things quite difficult for most drivers. But Brock remained calm and cool, despite spinning off the track on his first two attempts. Brock set a blistering lap time of 1:24.642 which is about 10 seconds slower then the normal time around the track.

Brock will have some legendary company at the front of the grid. Last years winner and reigning champion, Nathan McKane will start along side the #41. Behind Brock starting 3rd is the "King of Road Atlanta," Kenny Myatt. Myatt called Brock's run, "The most composure a rookie has shown in a long time." 4th position is Charles Sandfer, who's calm on track approach to qualifying had him on the top of the charts until 10 minutes to go.

The field will now have a totally dry track for the race ahead. But I would expect this race to be a real thrilling race of survival, like it normally is!

Johnson: "... Well damn, didn't see that coming. Congrats to Brock, hope to see him win."

C. Sandfer: "Well knew we had a good car upon unloading. I dont think any of us really expected to be that quick though"

Kenny: Alright kiddos. If you are a rookie, not named William Brock. Here is a video about how to get around Road Atlanta.

OOC: I did a couple changes to the soundpack as well. Now the cars "growl" a bit more. How do you guys like it?

H. Sandfer: "Again another reason its great to have Myatt as a teammate been comparing notes with him all weekend long. Hopefully it will be a strong race for us but the primary goal is just to run all of the laps."

Martinage: "Congrats on the pole, Brock. Hope you can keep that momentum in the race."

Johnson: "Yeah, Brock's not going to last long. I see it. Either Ohian's going to spin him out."

Thenos: "Just mad about that Woodchipper?"

Johnson: "F*CK THAT THING!!"

Brock: "I had a great car in qualifying, but I didn't expect to win the pole going into the session; just hope that I can keep that momentum going, and maybe even get the win here."


OOC: What exactly do you guys mean by "the woodchippers"?
