Beka Moss terminated from Silverspeed as MasterCard pulls out of deal

Well, it has been expected for a while. However, it was made official the Monday after the Round of Texas. MasterCard, the primary sponsor of car #84 has pulled out of the deal to sponsor that car for the rest of the season. As a result, team owner Gerald Silver has fired driver Beka Moss. Despite winning the Round of Illinois, Moss' driving ability has come into question throughout the season.

Moss was unlikely to be medically cleared to race in the Canadian race anyway. As she took a massive blow to the pit wall in Texas. This decision has nothing to do with that according to Silver.

No official word on who is replacing Moss. However, that driver will be required to bring in sponsorship.
