Patterson Parked after Charlotte Debacle

Earlier, the NMGAR made a change to their penalty format, moving to a three strike system. However, not all on track incidents are created equal under this system, and that has parked Kyle Patterson.

On lap 383, Patterson turned C. Jackson into the wall, wrecking him into the path of J. Moss who would hit him in the driver's door and injure Jackson. Because Patterson was 15 laps down, it was ruled that he had no regard for anyone and was given an automatic park. Patterson also received a fourth strike for wrecking the leader. Also a strike was given to Moss for causing Jackson's injuries.
