Qualifying for the 2019 Daytona 500

Top 30 in last year's Owner Points will be locked into the first 5 races of the year starting off at the Daytona 500. All teams attempting the Daytona 500 that don't hold ownership of any of the Top 30 spots in last year's Owner Points will be the focus of Speed-Weeks as they try to qualify into the Great American Race.


DAYTONA 500 Sony Pole Qualifying


Single Car Qualifying.

Fastest 2 in Qualifying will lock up the front row for the Daytona 500.

As for the Go or Go Homers, the fastest 5 drivers not already locked into the race will qualify into the Daytona 500.



Gatorade Twin 125's


The field will be seperated into 2 seperate races with half the locked in drivers being in one Duel 1 and the other half being in Duel 2. The same thing goes with the Go or Go Homers; half of the drivers not locked into the race will race in Duel 1 and the other half in Duel 2.

Drivers in the Twin 125's will be racing for starting positions. The higher you finish the further up you'll start for the Daytona 500.

The 5 Go or Go Homers that qualified their way into the Daytona 500 on Pole Day will be thrown into the group of drivers who are already locked in and those 5 drivers will play no role in deciding who makes the race.

The final 7 starting spots will be determined in these 50 lap races. Top 3 finishers of the Go or Go Homers not already in the Daytona 500 will race their way into the Daytona 500!

The final starting spot will be given to the most recent past champion in the field, if the past champion's provisional is not used then the last starting spot will be given to the fastest Go or Go Homer from Pole Day Qualifying not already in the field.
