Freeman Again?!?!
Last season Johnson Freeman tried out for both the A700 and Indy 500. Failing to qualify for both, but coming quite close in the A700. Freeman known for his 1 ARC championship and never-give-up personality decided he'll try again this season. He says he want to race against the legends of ARCSOA. He will be racing the #83 Dodge again, it hasn't been decided yet if he'll rock a new paintscheme of stick with his one for S19.

Phadkar Running A700 w/ DurbinSport?
This has been something discussed between Phadkar and DurbinSport for a while... Well, ever since the 22-Year old Pakistani driver found out he wouldn't be returning for S20. This will hopefully be going ahead, but it's too early to 100% confirm it.

Tonney wants record field for 9th running of American 700
ARCSOA CEO Kayla Tonney has expressed interest for getting a record field for the American 700. She stated, "I would like to see every ARCSOA Lights driver in an Elites car for that race. So much so, that I am willing to cancel the ARCSOA Lights race at Fontana, and give the series another weekend. I think that, coupled with some of the expected foreign entries, such as Brazenkopf and a few other teams, may in fact get us to beat our record. I believe the most we have had was around 100 cars attempting for 42 spots. I would like to grab another few cars on the grid."
Tonney also stated that she would like to see every team bring at least a 3rd car to the race. "I would like to see each full time team bring one 3rd car to the table. Last season we didn't have an issue with that, because of the Part Time championship. This year however, the logistics may be a bit outlandish. Blue Flare seems pretty keen on bringing an extra car, as well as Mercedes and KIR," Tonney Stated.

DurbinSport Sanctum, LTD. to Extra Cars in American 700 IX
Although we are still a ways away from the ninth running of the American 700, rumors are already beginning to bustle about the entry list for the large race. Â DurbinSport Sanctum, LTD. has entered three or more cars in the past, specifically seasons thirteen and seventeen through nineteen. Â This season appears to be no different, as it has been confirmed by team director Jake Warren that "at minimum one extra car" will be entered for the largest race of the season. Â While details are unknown, it is rumored that Edisham Phadkar or Darren Herring will be behind the wheel. Â Both may also run if four or more cars are entered.
Sanctum to Enter Independent Entries into American 700 IX?
Although Sanctum-backed and funded team DurbinSport Sanctum, LTD. is already planning on entering at least three cars into the big event, word has spread around the paddock that Sanctum Corporations may field their own independent entries in American 700 IX for research and development purposes.
This would not be the first instance that this would happen. Â In season seventeen, Sanctum absorbed the bankrupt Lykos Group, who at the time backed the DurbinSport team, and also began backing the Indiana-based team. Â In preparation for season eighteen, Sanctum and DurbinSport entered a third car, debuting the Sanctum Jackal. Â It proved to be fast, as driver Charlie Smith dominated his qualifying race. Â However an engine failure with under ten laps remaining forced him to fail to qualify.
According to anonymous sources, Sanctum will head this development effort in case a similar situation arises, so that it does not wind up costing DurbinSport the extra money that could be used toward further development this season, which is arguably part of the reason Ike Durbin lost the season seventeen championship. Â
Details are completely unknown as to who would pilot these entries.
Horizon Group to Return for American 700 IX Once Again
Horizon Group has had a solid track record in ARCSOA Elite Series one-off competition. Â The team debuted in season seventeen, running year-old Lykos RDM-01 chassis, fielding entries for Geo Arias and Jason Tyson. Â Both drivers barely made it into the show, despite struggling in the main event.
The team returned in season eighteen, claiming the pole with debutante driver Cooper Syron who stunned the world, while their second car, driven by Sean Perkins, would go on to win the race. Â The team returned in season nineteen, once again running up front until trouble struck.
Horizon Group has announced they will once again field entries for the American 700, though details are a bit shady at the moment.

Tonney hints that American 700 IX may be a day race
After declining television audience in Season 18, the Season 19 American 700 had record TV audience for the finish. "It is clear that the race's start time isn't very realistic for the east coast viewers. We can have a race ending at 4AM on the East coast. For American 700 I we ended at 10 AM EST due in part to track repairs. We can not have a night race at Fontana right now. The only reason why it was at night in the first place was the heat. We have proven that the cars can handle intense heat. A 1PM start also opens up a nice time slot for the East Coast, as well as a morning start for Australia. The only group that it really hurts is Western Europe. However they for the most part will have the same time slot that the East Coast had."

Red Bull is going to bring in a ride for the A700 and that driver will be Jeff James. He has done great in a series prodominantly for oval drivers so this helps him get his name out there for the AES.

Finguy-Psytomi to add Two Cars to the Field
Unknown at this time who will pilot these two machines being sponsored by the Nintendo brand. The team are in talks with their sponsor to discuss that. The driver to drive the current unknown cars numbered 90 & 94 is as well unknown as well. Rumor might be that they show an interest in some drivers from Lights but the other Ford team Action Terra might have a pull into it. Everything is unknown.
Satsuki Jakuzure Looking in
Surprisingly, a driver not talked about teaming up with partner Skyla Johnson is Satsuki Jakuzure. Reports say that she might be trying to get in by either the Durbinsport entry or even the Horizon Group entries for using another partner to her Lights team Audi. Her fate is unknown for now.

Freeman to pilot #61
So, after realizing the #83 was taken by Pericles, Freeman had to go with a new number. Since he is racing in a BFM Lexus he decided the number of his car will be the #61. Sponsor is now unknown as Canadian Tire announced they will not be returning as a sponsor. Rumours say Google want to sponsor the legend.

Auricom to only bring 3 one-off cars to the American 700
Much to the surprise of the presses, Auricom only plans on bringing three one-off cars to the prestigious American 700. Rumors have speculated that the team's racing director and former ARCSOA Elite Series driver Treck Tauger would pilot their #60 Rab-O-Tec Eclipse, while speculations indicated that Japanese touring-car rookie Takumi Hirano would bring funding from Cardair for their #090 car. Little to no information is given on the third driver.
Forkner Performance to enter the 700 once again
Team owner, Tom Forkner has announced that, for the second year in a row, his team will bring Max Tender to attempt the American 700 with their self-owned #07 Forkner F3B.

Tonney announces lowest downforce package ever for an American 700
Last years American 700 was highlighted for being the most competitive American 700 ever. However drivers didn't like the high downforce package from last season. 3rd place finisher last season, Kenny Myatt stated, "We just couldn't make any moves. If we tried something, we'd hit a wall of air and wouldn't go anywhere with it. I think going with a faster car that will allow us to make some moves will make it much easier for the drivers." Another reason for the change in areodynamic package is to cut down the chance of the annual, "Big One" striking early in the race. "We do not want to eliminate 10 cars within the first 20 laps," Tonney stated. "The old package bunched everyone up so tightly that a giant wreck was inevitable. With this package, we hope the field will still be packed enough to make the race unpredictable, yet far enough apart where drivers can control their own destinies to an extent."

Alan Cavagnaro has bluntly stated he will be competing in the 700 and the Indy 250 (when the thread is opened) Alan however is looking for a team to run for. He just wants a race contending winning team. He also hinted this may be his last A700.

CHRIS DODD IS LOOKING FOR A RIDE:
Chris Dodd is looking for a ride for the American 700, and hopes to be able to join a solid race team. However, he knows the difficulty in finding a ride for this prestigious event. "Hopefully I get a shot, because I know that I can get the job done, it's just a matter of setting up with the right team."

Finguy-Psytomi is Making a Move
They are making a serious bet to try and actually get Alan 'Cavy'. Why? Well, the Bringhamptions Team say something. Vague reference. But the later stages of both careers, Alan and Jeffery were at least talking again before the race at Road America. This now out in the public. Could 'Cavy' come back on a team with the Finguy name on board? If so, he would do them a serious favor.
