Sony Cup Series will take the restrictor plates off for DAYTONA

This will come off as controversial move from the SCS Officials but it's a move the officials thought would help better the series. After seeing close pack racing at Daytona in the 500 and Talladega which seen big wrecks has made the series change the plate package for DAYTONA. After testing this package it looks as though the average speed will be 220mph. The rough surface on the track will force drivers to have to lift in the corners and the speeds will spread the field out more.

Oh snap, we're going way back in time with this change! Hopefully there won't be a freakish crash that'll cause this change to be demonized.
