Eric Demax will drive for Rodriguez Racing in the Cup Series for 2019

Rodriguez Racing a few weeks back announced that they'll be moving to the Cup Series in 2019 with a one car team in the making as a Toyota team. News of the driver that'd be behind the wheel was to be determined until this evening. Rodriguez Racing has announced that they have signed Eric Demax as their full-time driver that'll be behind the wheel of their #60 Toyota Camry for the new season. Rodriguez Racing was quoted saying that they are proud to have Demax on board and can't wait for the opportunity to work with him in 2019. Eric Demax said at the announcement that this was new start he was hoping he'd be able to get for 2019 and is thankful of the opportunity and that they're going to take it one race at a time and aim for good finishes week in and week out.
